Well that was sh*t.  I know it's early days but is there really anything to fear from either of these teams?

The last 2 or so seasons say otherwise in fairness.

Just had a sweet dawning realisation - Hull City and more specifically Steve Bruce will be no where to be seen this year. Thank f**k that pr**k and his sh*t stained football aren't in this league.

Oh and thank god that 5 star c**t Pearson isn't managin Leicester. Maybe he can spend his spare time teaching his son some etiquette and how to treat women.

      Wot a pair of fuckers!

The only thing I'd fear from that, is that the Scum still seem to have the ability/luck to scrape out 1-0 wins. I F***ing hate that diving c**t Young, how he gets away with it is beyond me, if someone clips your ankles, it doesn't send you 4 feet in the air! Sounds terrible, but I hope that pr**k gets injured!

      Hopefully not. ;)

I have to agree though, my anticipation for the season was expecting a very, very tight league this year but if that bile was a signifier then it's gonna be a bit poo.

Which is fine if the opposition sit back and let them but anyone who actually has a go and they'll struggle.  Yes they'll win some of those games but only if they bring in attacking reinforcements, they look shocking up front.

I'm going to try a different take on things this season mate, I'm looking at things solely from a stats pov.

10 points from each group of 5 games, averaging 10 goals scored should be enough to achieve our minimum target of top 4, anything else is a bonus.  I believe we can achieve that and if it's one of those seasons where a lot of clubs have above average numbers then it's out of our hands.

Minimum 70 goals scored with 70+ points won and we're at least back around where we need to be.

They look good don't they? Should have scored through Gosling, i think it was, who blazed over from 8 yards. Created more chances, passed better, and Villa are asking for trouble playing a backline of Richards and Clark as CB's with Bacuna at right back.

They do mate, they should look even better when a few of their new faces get on the pitch. How Gosling missed that I'll never know. People have strongly tipped Bournemouth and Watford to go down but I really don't think they will. Watford have bought some very solid players and Bournemouth are playing some good football. Wilson is going to scare the living daylights out of some defences, the lad's rapid!

Agree. Should be interesting to see how they go.

I really think Ranieri will lead Leicester to relegation and there's a host of clubs who, if they don't start well, will get pulled down.

As i say that!!! Terrific play from Villa and the new lad wearing the 8 for Villa has a shot saved on the line.

My predictions for relegation before the games started today were Norwich, Sunderland and Villa.

I did a lucky dip 'Prem Predictor' at William Hill this morning and it's safe to say I may as well throw it away now :D
