Milner looks like he's been playing for us for years.

He's a proper Liverpool player, reminds me a bit of Steve McMahon one of my favourite Liverpool players.

I love Milner already. Man City should have done whatever it took to keep him, he's miles better than that Fernando they've got chillin' on the bench.

Well played but unlucky Ings, he doesn't give up easily does he.  I so want him to score today.

Love how our players are really having to go at it. Will do them the world of good!

Good competitive game. Just need to score another 9 goals to get some credibility back ;)

Will we go into the season with Moreno as first choice?  Kind of think it's a concern.

Great pressing from Origi leads to us getting possession in their half, that's what we want.

Whilst I don't rate him all that much as a consistent goalscorer, his work ethic and attitude makes you want him to become one.

If he keeps this up we should be going into the season with Gomez as first choice.

I know it's just a couple of pre season games but I'm struggling to think of many defenders look so good at his age.

we all said that about Borini. Hoping he can get on the scoresheet against these.

Gomez, Milner and Origi  the pick of the first half for me. Great finish from Lallana but not getting enough ball at the moment.

Who was at fault for Bribane's goal. I thought it was Skrtel being slow to come out, but on my stream they seemed to think it was Lucas?

Ings is already a better player than Borini.

Don't agree Origi has had a good game, I think his passing and first touch have been poor

Surely if Lallana keeps his goal scoring up throughout pre-season then Brendan won't be able to leave him out of the team for the start of the season? The problem then of course is where would he play and who does he keep out of the team?

He looks clumsy to me yea. Hopefully it's just sharpness is lacking at the moment.

He is going at players though mate... something our strikers haven't really been doing enough. He worked really hard too.
