Again though, neither of those are DM's. I'm not saying we shouldn't bring those players on, I've actually said a lot of times that I want to see more of Markovic and Teixeira but it's like bringing Sturridge on and putting him at left back.

It pre-season with 2 game left still...they have been globetrotting for 2 weeks now and currently are playing in a high heat/high humidity environment....they are managing players fitness while at the same time looking at others and giving some of the stand-out kids from the academy a little bonus for working hard.

Clyne, Hendo, Milner, Skrtel, Sakho, Migs, Lallana and Ibe all look ready to go...I am sure we will see the "spine" in Helsinki and the final pre-season.
