      Well this is interesting..

      Gerard Romero ‎@gerardromero
El Liverpool ha arribat aquest matí a Barcelona per demanar la cessió d'Adama Traoré al conjunt anglès #frac1 #mercato

translates to "Liverpool has arrived in Barcelona this morning to request the transfer of Adama Traore"

No clue on the source credibility AND the player  ;D

What's this got to do with Lucas Digne? :P

Saw Digne in person last night in Chicago. Looks pretty decent, good pace, didn't get caught out of position and seemed to anticipate fairly well. But, to be fair, it was a preseason friendly, so nothing to put too much stock in.

I dont think PSG want to sell him but might loan him with option to buy that way they can keep tabs and bump price up if he gets decent game time. I would take him on loan as competition for Moreno but wouldnt start him ahead of him come Stoke just have him there to push Moreno as at the end of the day he would be a loanee. on the flip side i'm happy to wait out till Jan and if he's not got much game time at PSG but we've seen enough to still want him we could get him cheaper.

Along with a DM, this signing would be one of the final pieces of the puzzle

We don't need a specialist DM, nor would Rodgers buy one. We have Can, Allen, Lucas and Milner who can do a job in that position if need be. What we need is a touch of class up forward, an area we've still looked light in during this pre-season.

Guess you didn't see the Benteke goal. Not sure how much more class you are looking for ;)

I'm guessing you haven't realised that Firmino and Benteke have only played an hour for us then? Wait until they get fully match fit and we will be fine.

I'd rather give more confidence to Moreno than sign Digne, because he isn't much better than Alberto. He's almost the same type of fullback, very offensive but clumsy in defending, maybe Moreno needed 1 year to settle, and Digne will need the same time also. Gomez should do if Alberto has some poor games.

There's been some reports of Digne being linked with a season long loan to Roma. They're unreliable and seem to have been going all summer so they're probably just being regurgitated.

Guess it depends if we are really interested and where the player wishes to go

I think now Gomez seems to be starting against stoke puts to bed this deal, I think he will go with what we have and let Jose run his contract down and keep him as 3rd choice back up. Maybe in the summer we might come back in for him but hopefully we dont need to as i'm fed up of us buying so many players summer after summer.

i was fed up with our aging squad of overpaid spuds. Sotis Kyrgiakos, Glen Johnson, Christian Poulsen, Joe Cole, Raul Meireles, Milan Jovanovic - if you're fed up of signing new players and creating an entirely new squad, i assume this means you're happy with our old squad???

i'm fed up with Enrique being one of those overpaid poonces, screw keeping him around. get them all out.

If rumors are to be believed, Enrique is joining West Brom on loan. A bit weird given his contract ends next year. Probably we don't want any fee and are just happy to take him off our wage bill. Of course, his annual wages could be more than his current market value!

Don't have a problem with that arrangement at all.  It makes sense as he's barely played for 18 months so we're hardly likely to get anyone buying him, at least a loan takes him off the wage bill and allows him to get back in the shop window so he hopefully gets a few Clubs taking him on a free next summer.

      having medical today
The transfer is expected to be a one-year loan at a cost of €1.5m with option to buy at the end of the season for a further €16.5m.

That option word is everything, somehow it reminds you of a certain aquilani and others
after 1 year they say he is not worth €16.5m. do you want €8,
