The point was that having players cavort around with skin cream or shampoo products feels wrong to me. It's not like they need the money nowadays

You could say that about any wealthy person who is used for endorsements. In my opinion players can advertise for whatever they want. As long as it doesn't affect their performance then who am I to judge them on what products they endorse? It's not as though football is seen as a macho sport, it's full of metrosexual's diving all over the place.

I really couldn't care less tbh.  The Club needs to bring in as many sponsors as possible to help keep us competetive and to be fair we're probably the best out there for taking the piss out of ourselves
