I think this is gonna be a bit tough game for us but a win for us is the only outcome that i see.Team should be pretty much the same that played against the Arsenal.Firmino should start again so he gets used to PL style of play as soon as possible and i also hope that Hendo would be fit for this game.

If we play like we played against the Arsenal the win should not be a problem here.
Maybe Ings could get his chance in this game.

There's no way I'd drop Can, I'd start with him and Hendo in mid with Ibe making way for Milner on the left.

                          Migs

          Clyne     Skrtl     Lovren   Gomez

                    Can        Hendo

      Milner       Couts         Firminho/Moreno

West Ham are one  of those sides who i really enjoy beating. For some reason they have an opinion of thier club that does not fit with the reality of it. If we could really put them to the sword that would be such a great way to go into the international break 10 points from 12 would be outstanding. Last season we started poorly and its impossible to catch up once you are behind and the pressure just builds and builds so this season is a perfect start so far

Sturridge will he back soon and we have Ings also.

Turn Moreno into a DM? Not for me mate.

Sturridge near to making a comeback but not near enough and it is frustrating. We needed the goals to come badly.

I'm exploiting Moreno's attacking prowess. Being a defender, he can hassle the oppo midfield to regain possession and bomb forward.

I'll take a 1-0 winning margin anytime now unless the bunch decided to start scoring a few from now on.

      Moreno a DM?

One of the more wacky ideas and we get plenty on here!

Don't be too one dimensional and a stereotype. Acknowledge his strong points and don't ignore it. I've given my reason why he could be a good DM, your turn please as to why he can't. Didn't we see him dribbled the ball almost 1/3 the pitch and nearly into goal?

I would like to see 2 up front at home. Perhaps, not against Scum, Shitty or Chelski but other teams - yes.

We can only score goals if we have striker(s) playing - IMHO.

Why take out somebody who is doing well? Makes no sense. It's not as though we're not creating enough chances and it's not as though he never attacks down the line.

I already answered why within my post but Moreno will offer us a lot more width and his pace will be a real asset in a game we  desperately need it. West Ham will play very narrow with full backs acting as centre halves pretty much.

There is no harm giving Gomez a rest either. He has picked a yellow up in all three games so far too.

Moreno has the ability to get in behind the West Ham defence and Gomez doesn't to be fair. West Ham are going to find it tough to defend Coutinho coming inside with Moreno over lapping.

If it was at upton park an West Ham were likely to attack us more then I would pick Gomez every day but I can only see them sitting deep and playing for a draw or snatch a goal on the counter/set piece.  So for this specific fixture, I'd pick Moreno.

Can see the logic with moreno and giving Joe a break. Might just happen. or not, as Joe been so good.

We only have Big Ben upfront no back up. Balo chapter II all over again. That's how it's gonna be until the end of the season until Stur returns, lone striker that's the only tactics that BR knows. Check out what Balo  said about BR.

Firmino is a forward, and coutiho just behind feeding.

      we play 4-3-3 remember.

or 4-3-3 when attacking and 4-5-1 when defending.

Ings will get his chance, as will Origi.

Balotelli holds no weight at this club anymore his opinion is null and void the moment he speaks.

I don't either, but we have a winning team, 7 points from 9, Id be very surprised if BR changes much unless its due to fitness.

Probably for a lot of the same reasons Coentrao never made a good transition from LB to DM.

I'll be honest it isn't one of the best ideas I've heard, Moreno needs to learn how to defend first ;)

Can't see that many changes from Monday and hopefully another home win and three points.

Strong points required to be a good DM:
      -Strength
      -Vision
      -Anticipation
      -Positioning
      -Passing
      -Tackling

      Strong points of Alberto Moreno:
      -Speed
      -Dribbling
      -Speed
      -Dribbling
      -Speed
      -Dribbling

Widemen and central men are completely different. Sometimes people like to blur that fact, especially with AM's nowadays. Some players are good enough to play anywhere, Alberto hasn't shown enough yet to make anyone think that he'll make a good DM.

A good winger is a possibility, wouldn't mind seeing him given a chance there over Ibe.

Benteke is Balo Part II? Yeah, unless Benteke starts f**king about in training, feigning injury so he can leave early and buy an iphone, and generally puts in no effort at all, the fans will always support him.

I'm delighted with his work rate, and pleased with his performances so far. So yeah, totally unlike Balotelli.

Get in the real world for fucks sake. Seriously, any little excuse to have a go at the team or boss.

Looking at the training pics from today, bib theory would suggest:

      Migs
      Clyne - Skrtel - Lovren - Moreno
      Lucas
      Milner - Can
      Firmino - Ings - Coutinho
