Time for the manager to ring the changes following the international break in my opinion, that is providing every one comes back fit and injury free.

Me personally I'd go with the 4-4-2 diamond.

                                      Mignolet

      Clyne              Skrtel              Sakho             Moreno

                                      Leiva

                 Henderson                             Milner

                                    Firminho

                         Ings                  Benteke

Manchester United whilst being strong in the center are as bad as us defensively, we need to get about them control the middle of the park and put their defenders under pressure.

C'mon the red men lets have another of these.

Assuming Hendo is fit I think that is about our best option.

Couldn't agree more mate, creating chances and scoring goals appears to be our problem at the minute, we need to try and address that, even if away from home against United.

United will try and play football, can't see them sitting back, so lets try and exploit that.

      Two weeks to go yet!!

I imagine this thread will change during that time from one of feelings of suicide to feelings of wanting to burn the whole of Manchester down and drop a nuke on Old Trafford.

Still F***ing gutted little Philly will be missing though.

Watching these to see what we will be facing...

      2-1

EDIT: Hahahahahhahahah  :lmao: Swansea do them for the third time in a row - we have our blueprint for success here. We go into our match level on points - they need a victory as much as we do.

As usual they had to resort to bringing on Elbows up front and trying to lump it to him to save the match.

Hopefully they won't sign any quality players until the window closes.

Let them sign who they want - their record having spent big already isnt much better than Moysies.

Yet another stupid rule made by the powers that be
Noble will rightly appeal and get his ban overturned but if the ref had give him a second yellow tough luck lad

Yes I'd go with that team if all fit. Hopefully give BigBen a bit more service/support and give Ings a run out too.

Shame we won't have Couts, but have to agree with RedLFC, probably the best we can put out, and the most offensive.
I have a sneaky feeling, we may see a similar performance as that V the Arse first half. Mainly because of the occasion. Just hope we don't sit back in the second. As this is my 4000th post, I'm going for 4 goals, and 3 - 1 to the red men.

Won't change my opinion of Rogers ineptness, even if we do win 3 - 1.

Slight difference mate the guy that ran the show against the Arse will be suspended.

Just get the three points. Just beat them. I am happy with just 1 goal. Even if we have to hang on on a thread.

      BEAT THEM.  :aaliverpool2xt1:

don't worry about Coutinho being out.

we've got Adam "Messi" Lallana coming back, he's better than Coutinho anyway.

As much as your just being a dick with this post, even Lallana will struggle to be as bad as Coutinho was against West Ham.

Difference being that Coutinho very rarely has a poor game, whereas Lallana very rarely has a game where is NOT poor.

In fact he's almost always sh*te.

No, the real difference is Coutinho has higher highs, but he's nowhere near consistently good.  He can perform moments of magic in a game, that seem to magically make people forget how inconsistent he is. His performance against West Ham was only beaten by Ibe's poor performances this season.

I'm in favor of the diamond. Hopefully Hendo is available. Him and Milner are suited to the diamond, being the 'runners'. Lucas anchors and Sakho in for Lovren. The latter was just a ticking bomb waiting to explode, and it did on Saturday.

Migs; Clyne, Skrtel, Sakho, Gomez; Lucas, Hendo, Milner, Firmino; Benteke, Ings

Subs: Bogdan, Moreno, Lovren, Can, Lallana, Ibe, Origi

Gawd, that bench! May be Redknapp has a point.

      I don't see it.

I'm not sure he's going to build his defends around Lovren all summer just to drop him after one game.
