Had to do a bit of Mod pruning and remove some posts.

This is the Jürgen Klopp thread not a discussion about the merits or otherwise of past players and fitness levels.

If you wish to discuss (bicker over) those points, create a new thread  :gt-happyup:

6 wins in 7 games is pretty impressive stuff. a whole host of players that had been marked up for the exit door come January now look like players again and that has to be down to Jürgen's influence. I cant wait to see how FSG back him in January with a fully fit squad and a couple of really top players we can have a fantastic season.

Early days for the boss but 60% win record and 90% undefeated. Mid 80s form that!

This taking over a team really struggling and suffering big injuries to six/seven first team players (including two cruciates in his first week)

      Interesting.

Unbelievable seeing him turn his back on the penalty and then the fist pump when he saw the crowd react when Milner stuck the penalty away. Love him to bits.

Has he always been like that or is this a Liverpool thing?

Fair enough but was just wondering if he did the same at his previous Clubs?

That's what I meant.  Yeah I think he probably has done it at some point but I don't think it's his default behaviour.  He watched the penalty on Thursday didn't he?

No, he turned away as well... Only celebrated when the crowds did.

I prefer to imagine what could be Walt :)

In all seriousness though, a LFC staff member apparently said of the team after Rodgers first session; "they'll be fine with the ball, its without I'm worried about". Putting aside man management, what Klopp is light years ahead of Rodgers at is organising defensive phases without the ball, something which was obvious from the first game vs Tottenham.

3 full seasons avg 47 goals against is never going to win you the league. He has had 2 game sin 10 with no shots conceded Rodgers had 4 in over 150 games its a transformation that means we can win games 1-0 and no longer need to score 3 every game. Its a great basis to build a winning team on.

Since taking over Liverpool have been defeated only once in 10 games under Klopp yet the German showed his perfectionism when considering whether this constituted a good start. “Sometimes I would like to change my personality but I can’t forget this f**king loss against Crystal Palace, if we won this then I would say OK,” he said of the 2-1 defeat at Anfield last month.

That defeat still hurts me too Jürgen.
