Pre Match: Man City v Liverpool Sat 21st November 17:30 Kick Off
      Nov 10, 2015 11:51:46 am
After the international break we travel to the Etihad to face Man City, who sit top of the league ahead of Arsenal on goal difference.

Mamadou Sakho is rumoured to be out for 2 months. But it's possible that Toure, Hendo, Milner,  Rossiter and Sturridge could return to the squad to face City. Not sure of the severity of Randall's injury.

With those lads returning from injury we could potentially line up like this:

      Mignolet

      Clyne
      Skrtel
      Lovren
      Moreno

      Henderson (c)
      Lucas

      Ibe
      Coutinho
      Lallana

      Benteke

Subs: Bogdan; Toure; Milner, Emre Can; Firmino; Sturridge.

The squad looks much stronger with those guys returning as gives us some options from the bench.

It's looks like Aguero could return to City's side, Silva is still a little way off from coming back.

Raheem Sterling will face Liverpool for the first time since his move to City.

I am quietly confident about this one, although I don't think we will win I can see us getting a 1-1 draw.

Hopefully have a few of the walking wounded back for this game and no further injuries for the players called up for the internationals.

All things being equal I would expect Henderson, Milner and Sturridge to be on the bench, easing them back into the team slowly, although Milner might be a starter if we decide to reinforce the midfield at the expense of an attacking midfielder ... or even Benteke!

                                    Mignolet

      Clyne            Skrtel         Lovren        Morino

                           Lucas      Can

              Ibe             Firmino       Coutinho

                              Benteke

Head says we will get rolled over as we struggle to score but remain as capable as ever at conceding soft goals. Heart says we can win this one if we can only start putting our chances away.

3-1 to citeh not often I don't predict a Liverpool win so hopefully my prediction will be as bloody awful as most of my others have been this season.

No worries, he'll get injured during the game anyway. They'll be stupid to start him really.

The type of game we need Hendo in for his legs and Milner to man mark either Sterling or De Bruyne.

Its difficult to admit but I can't see us getting anything here. We concede too many and don't score enough. If we can keep it tight for 70mins then who knows.  But I fear we don't have enough pace or quality on the counter. Maybe we can nick it on a set piece for once.

I've know idea what team I'd pick but a pairing of skrtel and lovren is asking for massive trouble. I'd consider going three at the back for this. The only problem is if you tuck Can back in then there is no physical presence in midfield!

Good team but all City need to do is run at Lovren.

I think he's looked slightly better in recent matches but he's had so little pressure on him that it's hard to make a true judgement. Like you mate I think they will expose that side, Moreno bombs on and I don't think we'll have the defensive cover in midfield to constantly bail them out.

Going to be a true test on the back of an international break so I can't say I'm too confident. Expecting a loss and hoping for a win.

We likely to pack the midfield to start like we did against rent boys, due to our ongoing injury list.
Could work for us as like most good players, they only shine when they get lots of space to work in. We cut that space down and we may frustrate them into mistakes.
Could be wishful thinking, but hey ho.
      2:1 the Red Men.

Think Stirling needs flattening out as well, not because had left, don't care about that, but the disrespect he showed the club.

Must play as narrow as possible they have no width who can hurt us with crosses navas and sterling dont have crossing in their locker cant let them pick it up in pockets or silva and aguero will carve us open.

I second this. I am not normally a violent person or want harm come to people but that little toe-rah is the lowest of the low. The way he engineered his way out of here. I hate him.

Yes it was Agger, ah well never mind eh, I guess Skrtle will just have to take Daggers place and land one on KUNT face, would still like Can to ram his toe right up Sterlings Clacker bag aswell, around the 89th minute tho would be perfect !

City lost all credibility when Joe Mercer retired, they had a good team  in those days. We can beat these tw*ts Sterling and all.

Agree Billy..... and they had some players who would graft.
Franny Lee ,  Colin Bell and a real winger    Summerbee.

Watched the England highlights last night.
Interesting to watch Sterling on the wing now he isn't a Red.

He lost the ball easily and shirked a few tackles.

Just before Rogers was sacked he bleated how it was because of Rogers he wanted to leave.
This week he says the move was the best thing (££££££££)  he ever did.
      Little sh*t.

Hope Skrtel does an Agger  on him.

To be fair to Raheem Skip I'm not sure any player like him can look good in a Hodgson side as Roy has little idea how to use attacking players such as Sterling.
