As much as we can detest Raheem for the way he left I find it difficult to critique any player playing in a Hodgson side.

Agree Billy..... and they had some players who would graft.
Franny Lee ,  Colin Bell and a real winger    Summerbee.

Watched the England highlights last night.
Interesting to watch Sterling on the wing now he isn't a Red.

He lost the ball easily and shirked a few tackles.

Just before Rogers was sacked he bleated how it was because of Rogers he wanted to leave.
This week he says the move was the best thing (££££££££)  he ever did.
      Little sh*t.

Hope Skrtel does an Agger  on him.

think Torres remembers his first game against Liverpool i hope Raheen remembers it to but not in a good way. No need to fear these just go out and do as the boss tells them

Apart from Stirling's poor attacking display for England, which may be down to Woy, was it Woys fault that the ball kept inexplicably  bouncing off Stirling's boot for about 80 % of the passes he received. Don't think so.
If ever there was player who thought he was better than he actually is ----- Stirling is your man.

100% agree with your post GERNS,I am waiting for Sterling's head to drop when City start using him as a sub on a regular basis.

Why are we so quick write Sterling off? 6 goals in 15 total matches this season for City is pretty damn good for a 20-year-old winger.

Milner & Ibe back in training, think hendo as well, but probably this game is too soon.

Any news on studger, I know he was back training last week.

Hoping this will be a another game like against Chelsea, but if City click into gear I fear the worst, but at least team Kloppo has had plenty of time to do some analysis, work with the players etc. That is what we need now time for ideas to filter through, oh and some players who can score wouldn't go amiss either ;-)

Seems like an age since we played  :o looking forward to this game, need to get that Palace game out of the system, gutted that I got offered a ticket and I'm unable to go  :( tbh I'd take a draw right now, but obviously would love all 3 points, going to be a nailbiter of a game....come on you mighty red men !! Hoping to see Hendo back but I believe it will be to early for Studge.

Finally the internationals are over and not another break until March, time to start putting some 3 pointers on the board. Would love to get the win on Saturday especially after the Palace defeat but tbh I would take a draw right now if offered!

The International break for once came at a good time to get some of the walking wounded back to fitness.

Although Hendo and Studge are back training it seems like Hendo has only just started light training. So possibly only Studge making it on the bench.

      Team mostly picks itself

      Migs
      Clyne
      Skrtel
      Lovren
      Moreno
      Lucas
      Can
      Coutinho
      Ibe
      Firmino
      Benteke

Could pick Lallana or Milner instead of Ibe but he is our only pacy outlet and you just know that with Moreno and Lovren on the left we are going to have to score.

With Aguero and Silva probably only making the bench I reckon we can get a result.

great to be talking about football again and only football. Think Milner will play if fit along with Lucas we need plenty of support in the middle .
A point would be great just dont get beat . this will be a good test to see if we can pressurise a team for 90mins.

I'd take a draw if it was to be offered but a win would be a lovely bonus.

I wonder if Can is in the right frame of mind to start on Saturday? Personally, I would start Milner along side Lucas in the middle with Ibe resuming his right side role.
