West Ham were lucky with their goals against us recently. A goal that should never have been, and a counter attack cross-header.

I suppose if (and that's a big if) Benteke actually gets into the box instead of hovering around 25 yards out and the likes of Smith can hit some crosses onto his noggin we're a sneaky chance.

Noggin is a good old English word isn't it ...made me chuckle that. We all know that their is a Benteke we have yet to see lets hope he makes an appearance tonight......great way to start a Saturday evening this

Joke's aside that's a very inexperienced side to throw out into a cup game, the young ones could react either way, let's hope they react positively and surprise one or two.

Nice to see Tex start, think he'll have a good game, we need so much more from Benteke but he should get a few crosses that might suit him.

Get a goal early and who knows we might rattle them but I do honestly think that first goal is crucial to both confidence and how the young lads react. I'd go as far as to say whoever gets the first goal I'd make them very strong favourites to win, much more so than the usual advantage a goal gives.
