After yesterdays capitulation, I'm scared to think of what sort of performance we might put on.

Think this is a fair side. All playing for their futures, will up the passion and commitment.  Even if it goes tits up, it will be invaluable experience for most of them due to the occasion.

Surely we must play our strongest team? I don't know what that is, nor would I particularly fancy us even if we did, but should we win we have a very winnable tie in the next round. Win that and we're in the quarters, by then we might be playing well. We're hardly likely to achieve much in the league, so my feeling is we ought to go absolutely all out in the cups.

Its a cup game it can extend the season more and its a one off. It shows how far we have fallen instead of thinking we can go to Barca and get a draw or a sneaky win we all have to watch the game at west Ham from behind the sofa ....progress

This is the team I would put out as well and agree we should put out a more experienced team.
The thing is will he start with disco legs sakho and coco the clown migs.

According to Pearce Caulker, Tex and Benteke likely to start and with Coutinho, Origi and Studge back training they are likely to play some part.

So the bench at least will be strong.

So Cou, Origi and Studge are all in the squad, Brannagan missing through illness and Flanno, Caulker, Benteke and Tex due to start.

We've obviously missed Coutinho and Sturridge tons, but I'm weirdly most excited by Origi getting healthy again.
