Seven changes for Liverpool

Sheyi Ojo is named in Liverpool’s XI as they make seven changes for today’s Barclays Premier League clash with Stoke City at Anfield.

The 18-year-old makes his first top-flight start for the Reds, while Kevin Stewart is also handed a place in the line-up by Jürgen Klopp.

Elsewhere, there are berths for Kolo Toure, Martin Skrtel, Joe Allen, Roberto Firmino and Daniel Sturridge, while Lucas Leiva returns to the bench after injury.

I don't get why we would rest the centre backs but not the full backs. Was hoping to see Smith feature today.

The CB pairing historically leaked goals (13/14 season) and I'm surprised at the SB selection (no Flanno, no Smith). Also surprised, Ibe is not starting.

As for Stewart, I'm still not convinced, but always nice to see youth players playing in our first team.
