Nice to see that poster proven right.

Good to see us snapping up a fitness coach to address the problem before making any major player signings. Sensible move - looks like great minds think alike.  ;)

      ......  every time .

How does that make you right?

We're replacing Ryland Morgan who left last month.

I think it indicates - as I said - that we have a problem with training up the players in the right way. Good to see it being addressed. I'm sure Morgan left in the same way that Brendan did once a superior choice became available.

Your link just says he has left for "new challenges" - doesn't say where or when - it doesn't disprove my point in the slightest.

But your assumption was that he was removed because the new guy became available.  This sentence would say otherwise.

Klopp, who will consider both external and internal candidates for the full-time post next season but is likely to want someone familiar with his requirements, thanked Morgans for the contribution he has made.

Seems as though 1/2 the people on this forum are here to be proven "right" or "I told you so" more so than just having decent discussions regarding the club.

No it doesn't - that's the reporter's opinion and Klopp, or any decent boss, would have thanked the outgoing person for their contribution in any case.

The point is that I pointed out we had a problem in this area and was shouted down for it - then, as predicted, the players started dropping with musculoskeletal injuries consistent with overtraining, just like they did in his first season at Dortmund. Now the previous fitness coach is leaving and we are bringing in one of the world's best from Bayern even before we have made any major player signings.

Deny it all you want - short of Klopp commissioning a neon sign quoting me I'm not sure what kind of proof you would find acceptable.

Same for you though.  You are proved right because you choose to read the situation in a way that "proves" you right and can't help yourself but to brag about it.

Ryland "quit" unexpectedly last month to pursue new challenges.  Jürgen says he'll look at both internal and external candidates to replace him.

To you that equates to "I was right because I said Jürgen has been over training the players and needs somebody to stop the injuries so Ryland was removed from his post due to the new guy becoming available and therefore can replace him".

Why come into the thread being the big I am, always right, everybody else wrong when really who the F**k cares.

We lost our fitness and conditioning coach last month and now we have a new one ready to start in the summer - that's the topic of the thread not your F***ing ego or whether you're right.

When Klopp came in he said he was unhappy with the fitness of the squad. I don't think any one should be gaining false glory for the 'I told you so', except maybe Jürgen himself.

Debs, don't waste your time and effort mate, it really is pathetic that a grown adult reverts to ' I told you so' just to make themselves feel good, if he wants to suck his own dick and pretend he has a ego we lesser mortals can only scoff at, let him carry on, reality is tho he's full of sh*t and loves to antagonise those who dare to differ from his opinion,

I remember a few months ago I and a few others discovered how much wummery exudes from this particular poster, I didn't want to say at the time but, I did tell you so  :f_whistle:

I think this is a great move by Jürgen, his Gegenpressing style requires fitness levels that outweigh the normal levels of a premier league athlete, it's clear Ryland Morgan's is a excellent fitness coach however, even he was hard pushed to get the players to the level of fitness Jürgen requires, it's no slant on the fella, he just wanted to move on to other challenges,

This new fella Kornmayer knows what fitness levels Jürgen wants, but not only that he specialises on individual players each having different methods of reaching required level, it's the appliance of science, and the way forward in how football clubs look after their investments.

Who cares? All the posters who took such glee in shouting me (and others) down at the time we were saying these things.

I was shouted time at the time, when my predictions were proven correct and now that Klopp is addressing the issues I pointed out "no-one cares". You seem bitter that time has proved us right - had the opposite been the case then I can assure you the people with whom your opinions coincide wouldn't currently be shy of saying they were right all along.

Whatever though - in the end it doesn't make any real difference - none of these posts do - it's an internet football forum.

Oh FFS if it really bothers you that much to deal with differing opinions then put me on ignore and you can get back to praising Jürgen to high heaven every time we win a game and saying "oh well it's just too early to judge" every time we lose one.

It will do wonders for your blood pressure.

I can assure you HB that most the time it's not your ideas that are being shouted down, just the way you choose to express yourself. As I've said already though, the only one who deserves praise for the 'I told you so' is Klopp, who identified the fitness issue and stated it publically even before the spate of injuries.

I treat people the way they treat me.

if people want to talk respectfully I'm happy to do so; if they gang up with derogatory abuse then I'm happy to reply in kind - no reason why I should do otherwise, I'm a football fan not the reincarnation of Jesus.

i'm surprised the shrinking violets on here need so much emotional support.

Klopp has overtrained the players - he has a history of doing at Dortmund and the problems are exacerbated in the English league which is more physical. I'm glad to see we are addressing the problem.

Sorry for pointing this out a while ago but don't hate the player - hate the game.

You didn't point this out to me or first nor was it any great piece of insight, you're getting no credit because you deserve none on this. And I call bullshit on you post the way you find bullshit as well, a lot of posters are very terse, including myself at times.

I don't understand your second sentence - nevertheless the point is that there are plenty on here who are happy to attack me and I am allowed to respond as I see fit within the rules of the forum.

If you want to employ your energies productively then you might be best pointing them towards the gang of schoolgirls who burst into tears when their opinions are challenged.
