Ryland "quit" unexpectedly last month to pursue new challenges.  Jürgen says he'll look at both internal and external candidates to replace him. 

To you that equates to "I was right because I said Jürgen has been over training the players and needs somebody to stop the injuries so Ryland was removed from his post due to the new guy becoming available and therefore can replace him".

Why come into the thread being the big I am, always right, everybody else wrong when really who the f**k cares.

We lost our fitness and conditioning coach last month and now we have a new one ready to start in the summer - that's the topic of the thread not your f**king ego or whether you're right.

You could have posted that to KopiteLuke (the sentiments of 'I told ou so') and it wouldn't have looked out of place.

I've tended to stay away from Match Day threads in recent games as the score-box irritates me if my stream is running slow - however, before those few matches, if you total the number of contributions I've made on the match day threads they will outnumber yours by about ten to one so it looks like you've embarrassed yourself again.

Klopp wasn't happy with the fitness levels when he arrived alright. Primarily as the fitness regime before was progression based, in order to have the players peaking at the end of the season. Whereas Klopp wanted peak fitness instantly to play his heavy metal football, where you need to run everywhere yesterday.

I have nothing against either approach, but his first game against Spurs showed the benefits and consequences of the new regime, where everyone ran around like tigers for the first half hour, and walked around like tortoises for the rest of the game. Since then, the players have learned to adapt, and this new appointment should help maintain the levels he wants and we need, ready from Day 1.

No team is every fit enough... Klopp know we need to be much fitter to compensate for the comparative lack of funds. I am also just trying to move that Sevilla thread lower... sigh
