Seems clear most of us weren't expecting that many changes, couple of things to note from that.

Flanno has fallen behind Randall in the pecking order, quite a surprise to many of us that as I've not noticed many people be impressed with Randall, I certainly haven't. Another chance for the lad today though.

Skrtel not even making the subs bench surely means he's on his way.

Great to see Smith and Ojo starting, two of the players I really wanted to see and a chance to get a look at Ward. Ibe has to take chances like this, given his recent deletion of anything Liverpool from social media speculation took over that he might be on his way this summer too so we'll see just how much he wants to fight for that spot today.

Very interesting, still think we'll have enough to do Bournemouth but definitely concerned about Randall if I'm honest.

Happy to see so many changes, but maybe we shouldn't be playing Lucas at CB today as we have plenty of options to play centre back but not many for midfield if he gets injured.

Don't think that's necessarily the case Luke.

Flanno isn't registered for the EL so our only cover at RB is Randall so makes sense to give him minutes at this level in case he's needed in the 2/3 remaining EL games.

I hope Ward doesn't disappoint those looking forward to see him play.  He's not much different to Migs in terms of ability not that that means he can't play a blinder, just don't expect much of an improvement.

No, he could played all three and Ibe or Ojo to be benched.

As I said, he wants to give them a chance. Minutes now for Ojo or Ibe are far more meaningful than Skrtel. This isn't an indictment of Skrtel - some senior players are going to have to miss out when you give youth a go.

If Klopp did not rate Flanno, he would not have signed a contract. As debs said, I think.

Why can't he? I highly doubt Ward is going to be too upset if he doesn't get a run of games especially with the derby coming up. I'm not sure where you get "the only logical thing" thing from because it seems to me he just wants to give certain players a rest after their efforts over the past few weeks.Our fixture run looks like the following - Sunday, Wednesday, Saturday, Thursday, Sunday, Thursday, Sunday, Wednesday. We will eventually have 6 weeks of midweek fixtures.
