yikes, that is not good, lets hope Skrtel can get into gear pretty damn sharpish for the rest of the season. We'll also need to utilise Toure as much as possible.

Apparently the same fat burning substance that Kolo was banned for at City, there's an official statement from the club any minute.

      Liverpool FC club statement

Yesterday, Friday 22nd April 2016, a formal communication was received from UEFA stating that they are investigating a possible anti-doping rule violation by Mamadou Sakho.

The player will respond to UEFA on the matter.

The player is currently not subject to any playing suspension. However, the club, in consultation with the player, has decided that while this process is followed the player will not be available for selection for matches.

There will be no further comment at this time.

If so, I wonder how it makes you play better?

Sakho has until Tuesday to decide whether to submit a B sample to be tested or to accept the charge.

No, we get in Toure or Lucas to deputise.

Unless we want to assure ourselves of ending our season completely, we don't play Skrtel. Simple as that.

This is serious - we could lose a solid centre back for a long time now. sh*t sh*t sh*t.

Can any of our results be questioned or disputed in which Sakho played in?..

No danger of sanctions against Liverpool as a club. Has to be two or more players from same team for that to be an issue.

UEFA can't do that based on an individual's indiscretion.

      Apparently not

There has to be two cases from the same club for the club to be under question

Sanction will be against Sakho, he has until Tuesday to decide if he accepts the charge or gives a B sample.

I'm guessing with the immediate club suspension he has held his hands up to the club

Can Origi now Sakho, we have lost our first choice on all 3 lines. :(... The task keeps getting bigger.

Isn't he just? If you were going to mess about with drugs whilst being a professional footballer you would at least try and get a night out out of it.

Exactly, it's common sense to discuss with the club what supplements you are taking just in case they contain banned substances...

Statement about Kolo's future looks much clearer now...wonder how long the club have known?...

I've no idea mate I suppose the rules are the rules and he would have surely been aware of them.

Apparently it's not a banned substance in the US according to Clint so it's clearly not that much of a performance enhancer, I mean fat burning, well I don't know the science so I'm not going to speculate but it does sound like an incredibly stupid thing to get banned for.

Origi isn't the first choice upfront...
