      I'd like to see:

                                 Mignolet

                 Clyne      Kolo     Lovren    Moreno

                              Allen   Lucas

                   Milner      Coutinho    Lallana

                                 Sturridge

That's the team I would pick too mate. Firmino hasn't been the same since his return. Would probably swop Lallana and Milner around though. Moreno needs cover much more than Clyne and Milner is better at giving it.

No silly mistakes and I think we can win this one, going for a 1-0 win....yes a clean sheet!

It will not be easy but if we play with the same intensity and dedication as against BVB I think we will go through.

      Mignolet

      Clyne
      Lovren
      Toure
      Moreno

      Lucas
      Allen

      Milner
      Lallana
      Coutinho

      Sturridge

It wouldn't surprise me if he started with Bobby over Studge to maximise the press.

I understand what you're saying about the press but I don't think Firmino has played particularly well these last few matches where as Studge is in red hot form. If we want to go for the win, he is the most likely to get us a goal. As an alternative to this, we could go straight for the jugular and start Lucas at Centre back, drop Milner in to the holding position and play both Firmino and Sturridge. It'd be a bold and positive move from Klopp if we did, that could backfire or could win us the tie on the night.

We have a great chance here to reach the final and once again lady luck has given us the second leg at home.

The way we have been playing and scoring for fun, I'm hopefuls we will put at least a couple goals on them. Just need to hold them and then it should be a huge advantage coming back home.

This game is all that matters this season.

This is it, the players have to be pumped for this one including that donkey between the sticks.

Come on Liverpool!!!! 0-2 Sturridge and Coutinho

Well the bookies have us at 2/1 to beat them, so certainly it's going to be really tough.

An away goal and still in the tie would be lovely to bring back to Anfield.

I think these will want a typical European tie with emphasis on discipline and balance and keeping the game under control. I'm hoping we have a little dart at them early on and try to unsettle them.

I expected those odds with us being the away team.

Away goal vital in this competition, let's hope that the lads can cope, with the injuries and untimely suspension of Sakho. Once again nothing is done the easy way, which seems to be the Liverpool way.

      I'd go:

Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Lucas, Moreno, Allen, Milner, Coutinho, Firmino, Lallana, Sturridge.

Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Lucas, Moreno, Allen, Milner, Coutinho, Firmino, Lallana, Sturridge.

I don't like that midfield pairing, they're far too adventurous for one of them to sit back. I think it'll be Lovren and Toure at CB with Lucas and Milner at CM.

Another exciting European Night to look forward to but I can't help thinking this might be a bit of an anti climax after the Dortmund games, I hope not and we have the second leg at home to look forward to. We will need to concentrate hard and not make silly mistakes though and keep the ball better !!
We've not met these before in European competition, but although I feel we'll be to much for them over two legs, we mustn't take them lightly, a great chance for us to get to yet another European final, part one on Thursday  8) bring it on...

Despite our midfield injury count I'd rather have Lucas in at CB ahead of Toure

In a league where even Iago Aspas can score for fun - this lot don't exactly score a lot. We can take them and do it with ease.

      I think you're nuts!  ;D

Lucas has done quite well back there, but in his last game there he showed his inexperience somewhat and some of those tackles he makes inside the box has my hair falling out and bum squeaking at the same time.

Especially in Europe where refs tend to blow the whistle for the slightest perceived misdemeanor, I'd sooner have a player accustomed to the role like Kolo, who won't lunge in willy nilly to win the ball.

Plus, midfield is light and Lucas would be the ideal shield in front of Kolo and Lovren and won't cede acres of space as his positioning there is quite good. And if he decides to do one of his stereotypical lunges at least we'll have a wall in between the ball and the keeper.

      Mignolet

      Clyne
      Lucas
      Lovren
      Moreno

      Lallana
      Milner (c)
      Allen
      Coutinho

      Firmino
      Sturridge

Subs: Ward; Toure, Smith; Stewart; Ojo, Ibe; Benteke.

Expecting a low scoring game with few chances, I'd take a 0-0 draw back to Anfield.

      YNWA!

I think they are much better than you're giving them credit for mate. This is a really tough ask with our slightly depleted squad IMHO.
