Surprised Sturridge isn't starting too, but I do like Firmino as the false 9/#9. I think he works better up top alone.

Klopp knows better than me, but got me thinking about Daniel. Hope they are on top form.

Need a big improvement from Firmino tonight, been awful since his injury.

I wouldn't have gone with Firmino ahead of Sturridge considering one is in form and the other is the opposite. Hope Firmino has his shooting boots on tonight.

I agree that he hasn't been great since he returned, but I really feel he's playing his more natural role in a 9/false 9. He's a player that's in and out of the game regardless of where he plays, and when he's in, he's usually conjuring up something, and when out, he works hard, this is why I think he's better suited as a 9.

I think Jürgen has gone for it because he needs to maximise pressing opportunities and Sturridge and Benteke just simply don't offer the adequate amount of running off the ball to upset the Villarreal defence. I think it's the best team he could have gone for in all honesty. Being at home they are going to see a bit more of the ball so we may as well have the runners off the ball who will do the job.
