The best thing we ever got out of Watford was John Barnes.Looking to a few team changes for this match but I still think we will win and put another 3 points in the bag.

I believe 7th place clinches a Europa League spot IF the mancs win the Cup Final. With that in mind its I octant that we finish above Saints and ideally above the Hammers an all. Important to be in Europe every season.

They can't score at the moment. Clean sheet is the priority. Big Ben up top for this to prove his worth (I actually think he did quite well in his 5 mins cameo midweek).

I think the Oracle (Debs)  is correct once again, there will be a mixture of first teamers and youth, Jürgen burnt his fingers against the Swans so lesson learnt for me, F**k knows who exactly will play but rest assured we won't be losing!

The song is genuine, the Kop used to sing it when a trip to Anfield south(Wembley) was assured, it was "Tell me Ma me ma" rather than 'yer'

I was suggesting you still do a pre match thread but perhaps a watered down version, go Clint you can do it, burnt roasties taste better

Scored a few goals lately, especially at home. Think with a mixture of youth and experience, another comfortable victory, should be in our compass. Going for a 3  1 win to the Reds.

It'd probably be easier for him to go to the powers that be and say "we need to strengthen the squad" than formulate a master plan combining a squad of players in the hope that the powers that be think "we need to strengthen this squad".

I'm not so sure. FSG aren't really football people and they probably look upon 2 finals and increasing the clubs worth without, in relative terms shelling out a fortune first as success. Plus of course they have the perfect storm that is Leicester City to point to.

I'm sure pride will play a big enough part in this match to see us make a proper fist of it... irrespective of who Jürgen picks. It's not as if he'll pick a team he doesn't think will win; is it?

It's an interesting thought but I don't think so mate. 

We're still missing Mama, Hendo and Origi from our regular squad with Lucas, Skrtel, Can and Benteke only just back from layoffs, Studge still not playing 2 games a week and Allen and Toure who rarely play 2 games a week, so our rotation players aren't as strong as if we had a fully fit squad.  We've also still got Ings and Gomez to even play under Jürgen.

I'm not saying that all those players will be here next season but our long term injuries have been so bad this season that it's been tough managing the game time for those who've needed it and for those who've been available. 

We've gone through long and very busy periods without any senior CBs, then any senior midfielders and also any strikers.  We're also about to play over 60 games this season and hopefully the same again next, so naturally we'll have to strengthen over the summer but I don't think there's necessarily a message being sent.
