Our first European Final since 2007, how much are we all looking forward to this massive game to end our season, 2 cup finals under Jürgen Klopp, that's not a bad record in his first season is it?

Who will your team be on the night and what do you think the result will be?

A great opportunity for the might of Liverpool Football Club to get back into the Champions League next season, I just hope that whoever gets to wear the red shirt on the night gives their all like they did against Man Utd, Dortmund and Villarreal, let's make Wednesday night another special occasion in the history of LFC.

This game could be massively pivotal to so many of our players and the Club. 

Another European trophy at a time when our league form has been so hit and miss recently would be incredible.  Out of our current squad only Henderson, Skrtel and Lucas have experienced winning any trophy with Liverpool yet it's likely that none of them will start this game and it's possible 2 out of the 3 won't be Liverpool players next season.  That's a huge turnaround of players in the last 5 years so it's time the new guys started to write their own history and what a history it would be.

Let's hope the disappointment of losing to City in February has them fired up, with the determination and patience to get the job done.

I'm sure Jürgen has had all his focus on the uefa cup (I'm old school and can't get used to calling it the Europa cup ) ever since he made that statement
Regarding us qualifying for the CL through our league position
So there is no doubt in my mind that he and the lads will be fired up for this.
I'm a bit of a believer in omens and I remember a certain Spanish manager of ours losing the league cup final in his first season and look how that season ended.

Can't be overstated how big a win would be for this club.

The team should be fairly obvious IMO. Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Toure, Moreno, Can, Milner, Lallana, Firmino, Coutinho, Sturridge.

The bench will be difficult to pick though. I'd go with Ward, Skrtel, Lucas, Allen, Henderson, Origi/Ojo, Benteke.

Hope we win. Think it'll be nervy and probably go to penalties.

Some good news, Konoplyanka and  Tremoulinas are injured.

Konoplyanka is back from injury. He played yesterday.

Play like we did against Villarreal (h) and we will win this comfortably. Defend like we usually do and we could find it a lot more difficult.

I think we will blow them away, no penalties, no tense last few minutes, no amazing comebacks, just a complete performance a clean sheet and a memorable win. In other words a totally un-Liverpool like final.

Ground looks nice in the photo, comfy seats, turf well taken care of and adequate space in front of the dugouts to accommodate Klopp's celebrations.

Would be tempted to play Allen over lallana but pretty sure it will be the Chelsea team, need to be better at set pieces as Sevilla will probably have big lumps like iborra, nzonzi and kryschowiak playing and if Reyes plays there will be plenty of free kicks ,gameiro's pace and movement will be a big threat. Need to be at them from the first.minute

This will most likely go to the penalties. We don't do things easily. It will be lot tougher than Villarreal for sure. These guys have history with Europa having played in the last two finals. I just hope we win in the end - don't care how.
