Guys I got to be honest, I've royaly fu**ed this up, I've been looking back at my choices for each element, for instance I choose Bruce rather than Clem,Nicol as RB, Barney LB,Hyppia instead of Carra,so my re-jigged team is

                             Grobbelaar
         Nicol   Hansen  Carragher Kennedy
         Callaghan Souness Gerrard Barnes
                      Dalglish     Rush

      Still world beaters tho

Definitely the hardest category for me. Went with Dalglish and Rush but leaving so many players I loved to watch out was painful.

StJohn, Keegan and Torres while not the best, were players I have loved...

Although I suspect kenny and rush will walk this, I never saw them play.

This one is relatively easy for me.

Fowler was my boyhood hero. He still is my hero to this day. I still haven't seen a 'natural finisher' quite like him. Growing up he was on the back of all my shirts I just wanted to be him.

My other choice is Suarez. He is the most talented player I've ever seen in a red shirt. He was truly unbelievable.

Michael Owen shouldn't be on that list take the little judas Manc c**t off.

I have seen all the players on the vote list play.
Its been a privilege and wonderful experience.

So its really difficult for me to choose over a number of decades and different team personnel.

St John and Hunt  ?  /   Keegan and Toshack  ?

      No.

In LFC history there has been no one who made me look on in awe more than Luis Suarez.
The goals he scored from every angle were amazing.
      Our short lived Crazy Diamond.

A special mention has to be made for God.
In our hearts as a local lad there was the extra thrill when the ball went in the net.

Rushie has a special mention .
Owen was a traitor and unfortunately that is the legacy he leaves as a result.
      Can never be changed.

      However .
My second vote goes to the King.  His positional play ... shielding of the ball was beyond comparison.
All round fantastic player  so with a drum roll its ...

      Luis and Kenny.

Actually quite easy this one, a partnership that clicked from the start and had many years of success

This is an horrific choice to make, this was always going to be the hardest pick for me seeing as our forwards really were heaven sent & each and everyone in the poll really where something special.
My first choice is my boyhood hero Kenny dalglish  absolutely Idolised him growing up & I even swapped my Patrick Kevin keegan footy boots for a pair of puma dalglish silver  ( I cherished them boots ;D ) my second choice Has to be Rushie  him and Kenny where key
To our success when we ruled the first division & Europe.
The very close runners up based on players I seen live 3rd Suarez,4th fowler ,5th Keegan 6th Nando 7aldo
      8,Owen 9,Beardsley.

F**k it. It was Dalglish and Rush if I went with my very younger days. Would've felt wrong doing one without the other.

So, I decide to go with what and who I remember seeing the most when a bit older.

      Fowler and Luis.

      Imagine that.

      Really difficult this one.

Robbie was my favourite player during his first spell with us and Rushie is as good a goal scorer as you'll ever see.

But Luis is the most gifted footballer I've seen play for us and as someone else said on here you cannot have a greatest ever LFC side without the King on it so my choice is those two.

      Suarez and Dalglish.

Suarez is simply the best footballer I've ever seen in a red shirt, he has to go in there and I think in any team we have ever had, he was that good.

Next to him is a straight shootout between 2 number 9's, Fowler and Torres and Robbie walks it for me, so good I even named my goldfish after him as a kid!

Fowler and Suarez, what a combination.

      Where do you start!

First and foremost we've been truly blessed with talent up top throughout our clubs history.

Kenny was player manager when I started supporting the reds so as much as it grates me ala Souness from my own personally viewpoint I've got to leave the King out. I would love to be able to sit here and include the likes of Stubbins, Hunt, St John, Keegan etc against the more modern day counterparts but imo it would be unfair to do so.

Ian Rush what a player to start with, I would tell any young lad who wants to aspire to be at the very top of his profession to watch Rushie movement and work ethic. The wisdom he passed on to Fowler as Robbie was breaking into the side was a huge. Rushie was the man for the big occasion, think I'm right in saying it wasn't until the '87 league cup final loss that we'd lost a game when he scored the first goal!!!

John Aldridge what a finisher he was, he was prolific at whatever level he was playing in. He lived the dream as a red supporter himself and I will always hold him in very high regard.

Peter Beardsley any goalscorer would have loved Beardo as a partner (the proofs there with Aldo, Lineker, Cole), I don't think I've every seen such a unselfish forward in my time watching Liverpool. Would have loved him to stay longer but it wasn't to be.

Robbie Fowler, for anyone that was around when God broke into the team it was something very special. The amount and arrays of goals he scored puts him right up there. Don't mind saying I shed a tear when I turned the PC on to see he'd resigned.

Michael Owen he falls into the McManaman mould due to manner of his departure. But let me tell you this lad was frightening, he was fearless the way he ripped experienced defenders to shreds with his pace was breathtaking at times. Lets not forget he won the Balon D'Or with us not many players can say that!

Fernando Torres, I idolised the bloke my 8 year old daughters bear she got from build a bear at the age of 1, is still to this day called Teddy Torres ;D. I tried to get her to change it but she was having none of it, from the moment he torn the Chelsea defence a new one I thought this is a striker to be feared. His partnership with Stevie was feared right across Europe I just wish his stay didn't end how it did. Even before the transfer to them, he was sulking on the pitch it's the only way to describe it. I sat in the Kop his last game and it was hard too watch I must admit.

Luis Suarez. Unbelievable, more than anything the blokes desire to give every ounce he can and then a bit more. A talent I wish we still had but one imo that's impossible to replicate. A true one off genius.

Gutted to leave so much talent out but it's got to be done. Rushie and Suarez for me.

In recent times it has to be Suarez and Dalglish but I well recall a fantastic centre forward from the 1940s and 1950s.He was Albert Stubbins and if my memory is correct he had one hell of a shot and once broke a crossbar when he hit the ball so hard.He knew how to put the ball into he net as well.
Roger Hunt and the StJohn fully deserve to be up there with the best.

This is the exact problem I had with the formation chosen!!!
Why are the rules of football such that we can't field more than 11 players!?!
      Ridiculous.
      So hard this one
To select one legend over another?!
If I was going on my childhood heroes it is dalglish and rush
In teen years it's fowler and Beardsley
      Recent years Suarez and Torres.
      This is brutal!
I need to have a think.

Been thinking about this one all day at work, and so have decided, one from the past and one the present.

We have really been blessed with some truly wonderful players.

However, Dalglish is an absolute must. From player, to manager, to ambassador, he has represented this club in all manners of ways and makes us proud he is ours. The trials he has faced off the pitch, as well as his empathy, his wit and his overall professional approach to any situation, shows just what a class act he is.

His partner would have to be someone we all adore, without reservation, and someone who Kenny himself picked out, Robbie Fowler.

These two are my picks, but it was very hard! There are many others we have had who I adore but these two stand out above all others due to the loyalty they had/have for the club.

It has to be....dalglish and rush.

In my era, Suarez, Torres, Fowler, Owen in this order. But I voted for Dalglish and Suarez because I saw many videos of King Kenny and he was brilliant.
