Did some really good things today that we have not seen before however I expect as soon as Can is fit then Wijnaldum will be the first one on the bench.

Superb today in my opinion. Linked the attack together so well. Was excellent at upping the tempo as well.

Thought he had a really good game barring two times he lost posession in the center of the park facing his own goal.

Copped a bollocking for it from Jürgen the second time, besides that moved up and down real smooth and linked up with the attack really well.

Best game in red shirt imo tonight by Giji, nothing flash but particularly in the 2nd half of 2nd half won some good tackles, got round the pitch well, simple passes.

Has been really impressive with his pressing, quick passing and his movement into the opposition half which if only one of our passers could notice he would be through on goal.
The combination with Hendo and Lallana has been excellent.

By far his best game in a Red shirt last night, he looked a proper centre mid, getting on the ball lots, making lots of positive passes and making tackles

Is getting better each week as he settles in to the team and the way we play.  Got a good engine and worked really hard last night. Gave everything and was exhausted when he came off.  Well done lad, keep it up.

Hardly surprising he looked knackered when he went off as he was tireless and showed quality with it as well. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come

Looks SO much better in a midfield 3 than a 2. I loved how he got stuck in against Chelsea too, he won numerous challenges from what I remember.
