Pre Season Predictions: Where will Liverpool finish in 2016-17?

A week to go till the big kick off.  114 points to play for and hopes that we get more than the 60pts we managed last year.

1st for me

As usual I go into every new season believing that we will win the league,this season is just the same as far as I am concerned.I believe we have a manager who can get the best out of our playing squad and I am sure that Jürgen Klopp has made it plain to the players that if they do not give 100% every match they will be history and will have no future at L.F.C.

Chelsea and City having managers new to the League will help. Or at least it should if  the school of thought, that a 'foreign' manager (no matter how brilliant) needs a season to get used to the Premier League, is still as relevant now as it has been in the past.

Looking at some of the players our rivals have this season I have to say 5th/6th.

I'm hoping our squad not being stretched across European competition may help us push for the top 4 but going into the first game with Arsenal and our squad already looks a bit battered by injuries. We've got a real difficult run of games in the first few weeks as well.

Keep everyone fit and we may very well push for the top 4. Either way I can't wait for next weekend!

Every new season we need to believe that we will win the league. That is the only winning philosophy, if we fell short, hard luck. At the same time, we need to be realistic.

I know this is contradictory but I going for 5th-6th. However, we need to go into every game with winning mentality.

My heart always says first , I had a wager on us in may so im not going against it , although my head is saying 2nd to 5th  come on Jurgens army lets go and smash it .

This is the first time I've actually voted for 1st place.  I just have a feeling that Klopp will succeed where Brendan failed.  Kids in the cups and no European exploits means Klopp will be able to keep a very small group of players completely focused on one target -- winning the Prem.
