Still digging around and I'd say there's definitely legs in this one.

This is going to sound so cliche but (and I am not kidding and not trying to be 'ITK') I contacted one reporter (I'll call him Jim) of a certain website who said in his online article that sources told him the article by ibtimes (I think that's them), revealing that Everbright had come out and said they are not in any talks with FSG are in fact not true.

I got a bit miffed because the title of Jim's article was something like "Everbright confirm they are in talks with FSG", but when I read the article I saw no quotes by any source from Everbright, and so contacted Jim to ask him outright if this was true - if there was an Everbright source and if that source had contacted them and told them the ibtimes article was bogus.

Not only did he say it was true, he also said the Everbright 'source' came to him to put the record straight.

Read into that what you will, but most are now running with the Everbright connection.

I think the Northcroft interview with TAW was fairly conclusive that EverBright are genuinely interested in a stake/takeover and the ball is firmly in the court of FSG.
      We await their decision.

Thought this was an interesting video regarding the issue and FSG's ownership. Decent comparison and contrast of them and H&G for what it's worth.

      here's a question (because I can't remember the answer).

Just before he walked out and said that he said to one of the players (something along the lines of) "what was the name of that fella with the army in china?"

      Player: "Chairman Mao Boss"

And then he walked out and made his speech, class.

      Who was that player?

      probably Yeats.

      Brian Hall.

      Quote
On the open top bus trip to Lime Street, Bill Shankly asked Brian Hall… “Son, You know about these things, who’s that Chairman with the red book, lots of sayings? The chinaman, what’s his name?” A bemused Brian Hall answered Chairman Mao to which Shankly replied “Aye, that’s him son, Chairman Mao, that’s him”…..

From Graeme Kelly who announced Rodgers sacking and Klopp's appointment. Some info from him on investment, make that of what you will.

So from being happy to realise a £500m profit. It'll be closer to a £1.3 billion profit. Don't call them daft. #FSG

Going to be too late for this transfer window. Have to wait till Christmas now before our forward line is Messi Suarez and Ronaldo (Bale on the bench? )

When you think about it this window has got to be in prep of sale/investment, the only logical reason I can see why Klopp would have signed on is with the promise of future investment

Classic punt on the Graeme Kelly news who actually seems confident and a lot more reputable than this muppet. Kelly actually reported a lot of this months ago to be fair to him and it does appear to have some legs this one:

Remember wage bills being slashed and minus net spends prior to H&G sale to make us more attractive to buyers?

Maybe there's something in the China rumours ?

Picked up on this last week. The last time this flared up was last Saturday night...after our defeat away to Burnley. FSG denied it only after the Sunday Papers had gone to print and it was too late for them (notably The Sunday Times) to edit it from their front pages. What a coincidence.

Shameless spin once again to distract fans.

Indykaila writes constant bullshit - tweeting that he'd (or they) won Best Media Outlet associated with the club at a Liverpool end of season awards ceremony in May. Don't think the award even exists
