Movement is miles better with Origi and Mane on the pitch.

Mane's doing very well - was impressed with him in the first game.  Good movement from Origi but just not sure if he can be the lone striker.

Movement is miles better with Origi and Mane on the pitch. Firmino unlucky not to have quite got in front of his man twice there, good movement but just not quite quick enough.

Deservedly 2 up here and looking to put a few more in the onion bag.

At the back I think Matip looks composed as you can, Can looking a little rusty but to be expected and overall very professional so far.

What are the odds on Mignolet saving the first shot they get on target.

Good first half , only disappointment is we could and should have scored more.

Really struggle to see how Sturridge will fit into the attack when it's at near strength like tonight. Burnley only fed such thoughts even more.

Origi is playing like a proper #9. Working the channels, holding the ball up and making runs behind their defence, great stuff!!!

Huge improvement from Hendo, but he is playing in a more familiar role.

Can, been watching our midfield closely, still unsure, a few times he could have fed balls  into attacking players or turned and passed positively, too many side and back passes imo.

As for Matip, looks absolutely quality on the ball!!

Agreed, I don't think he does.

We'll maybe see later... my guess is that he will fit into it with ease, especially if he's used in the middle.

Not unless we go to a two up front. I don't think playing a flexible 3 suits Studge.

Cheers mate, managed to miss the second goal before I seen your post though. Wonder if I jib watching altogether will we hammer these!? :D

Good, professional performance in the first half, with us barely hitting third gear. A bit surprised at how quickly they faded and seemed to "give up", I expect a big 10 mins from them coming out after half time, weather that and take it from there and there is no reason why we can't get number 3 or 4.

Thought it looked just outside the box.  Definitely a foul though.

Stroll in the park with as comfortable a half we are likely to see all season.

Great to see Mane, and Firmino popping up everywhere.

Looks like their keeper has been having lessons from Mignolet of how to stay glued to your line!

Burton getting more possession, but we are cruising it... Rest Mane, and Origi, bring on Ings and Sturridge

I was shouting at that bluenose piece of crap for suggesting he fell over his own feet when it was clear he was caught.

Can looks rusty, but the midfield seems much more balanced with him in the middle of the 3 instead of Henderson. Jordan much better as one of the box to box midfielders too.

Easy to look more balanced and controlled against a team like Burton, but I do think once Cans up to match fitness we'll see him in the middle of the three in the big games rather than Hendo.
