When was that?  I remember signings happening all through the season, no structure, or so it seemed, but never all just done in the summer.

Majority of signings sorted before the season started and then the odd player here or there through the season is what I remember!

That was pretty much the end of having the reporters being surrounded by fans.

Good work by the blues there though

If Sakho does not leave, does it mean that Lucas will...?

Wasn't there another from that same day where a blow up sex doll was getting thrown about behind a different reporter?

Oh yeah, i agree mate. Two birds with one stone covering LB and RB. Could even try help Moreno and Clyne with his experience.

But the sh*t-storm it'd cause on here :D

So he rejects a permanent move because he doesn't want to go back to Portugal yet signs for them on loan.

I really rated him at Bolton. He was in my mind when I was trying to think of someone we could sign.

Had no idea Chelsea would bid 24 million though! Was thinking more of 2.4 million.

I thought he was decent in the Prem, but 24m and Chelsea, wow. But then again, Conte knows his sh*t about defenders, doesn't he?

Well, this is a naughty little rumour.

talkaloadofbull.com claim that Daniel Sturridge's representatives approached Arsenal in the hope of getting the Gunners to make a loan bid for their man.

Liverpool apparently have no interest in allowing the 26-year-old striker to leave the club though so it is a non-starter.

      WTF?

With regards to left backs (and I know Klopp ruled out bringing any left back in weeks ago) surely the genius Transfer Committee had a shortlist bigger than just Ben Chilwell???

What the f**k do Fallows, Hunter and that Yank "soccer expert" do all year to draw up a shortlist of 1 for the left back position?
