I think we'll field a stronger team than Spurs. They have West Brom (15th), Leverkusen away (18th), Bournemouth (22nd), Liverpool (25th/26th), Leicester (29th) and then Leverkusen again (2nd Nov).

Rotation is going to be a huge thing for them during that spell of games.

Spuds. Bring them on. Some decent ties in there with the manc derby and West Ham v Chelsea too.

Add in Kane will still be out.

Hopefully Spurs will have been sick of playing at Wembley by then and won't want to go all the way in the cup and have to play there again!

Relatively optimistic that we'll beat them.  Looking forward to it.  I think the team that we put out against Derby are more than capable of getting the result as well.

I think Spurs will be the team doing the worrying,they were lucky to escape with a draw when we played them down in the smoke.Our REDS to progress through to the next round and do it in style.

Not an easy tie but I more than confident that we will progress with Anfield behind the players.

We will field a strong team and they will rotate or have tired players

Will be on the Kop for this one, my first game of the season. Really fancy us to do them comfortably given their European commitments and their best striker being injured.

At home, Spurs have Champions League to focus on and Kane will still be out. It'll still be tough because they have good depth, but we should be close to full strength.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the last time we played Tottenham in the league cup was that quarter final in 2004 at White Hart Lane when Rafa started one of the weakest sides I can remember...and we won on penalties! Needless to say the likes of David Raven, John Welsh and Zak Whitbread didn't make the biggest of impacts in English football. In fact, last time I looked Raven was playing with Inverness!

Perfect time to play them really with their busy schedule and no Kane...
