We should win but its a derby game so who knows. We will create chances, lets just hope the boys take them! United lose to us and then they have to go to Stamford Bridge where Chelsea can really put the coffin in their season which would be so poetic and beautiful :)

I haven't got a problem with anybody posting who can remain within the boundaries of reasonable discussion.  Let's face it - even if you win (which you obviously won't) there's a good chance you'll still be below us.

Could be make or break for United after the internationals. They've got us then Chelsea.

All goes well we could be 9 points ahead of them after game 8.

How many of their lads are away on internationals. More than us?

Like others have said, I think the mancs will try to park the bus and hit us on the break or from set pieces.

Should be a comfortable win for us if we turn up and play as we know we can, but I never feel totally confident against those bas**rds.

I think the first goal will be even more vital than usual and hopefully we will get it.

Going for a cautious 2-1 but a lot will depend on who's fit after the break. At the moment I'm more worried about injuries than any opponent , because at full strength I think we are a match for anyone.

I'm not as confident as I would be if there was no international break to interrupt our momentum, but I fancy us to beat them.  ;D

Don't think we'll be able to keep a clean sheet for this one. Klopp parks the bus in the second half to protect our lead though, final score..... 128-2 in favor of LFC.

I am going for a cautious 2-1 to us too. Mourny is a cunning bar steward. He will get the Fellaini to elbow some of our defenders and try to get them sent off.

The international break is going to hit them a lot hard than it's going to hit us.

We don't need any time to change course, come back and keep doing what we're doing.

Maureen needs about 6 months and 2 transfer windows to sort out their squad.

So you're gonna sack the manager and replace most of your none-performing side by the 17th Oct.
      Good luck with that one.

Yup, he'll park the f**king bus.

      Also, he's not 'a cunning old fox', he's a C**t.

Wooo .... you hate maureen with passion which includes me. ;D. I don't hate too many oppo managers and say Pelligrini he said the right things even in defeat, unlike maureen which did the opposite and opposition fans have lasting memory.

Let's not underestimate maureen, he's a cunning old fox and Klopp must not fall prey to him. He'll sure come up with a game plan to try to stop us. Yes, they've created a number of scoring chances against Stoke and that was because Stoke allowed them to do so. No disrespect to Stoke. I've watched that game very closely and they have come up with some kind of attacking formations of late  :-

      1. Take the ball to the corner, whip in a cross and hope for  ibra gets to the end of it (we all know that); or they have 3 or 4 players running towards the oppo box towards the goal line trying to force the ball into the net, or;
      2. Take the ball to the corner, cut in and run across the oppo box near to the arc through successive passes and to find an opening inside the box to pass the final ball

I've seen a few more flaws in their game but I'll zipped my gab and I'm sure Klopp knows all of that and better than me.

Klopp will need to have plan B and C as maureen does well against the opposition if they only have one game plan. Don't give maureen the chance to re-act.

I would think maureen will either, start the game   :-

With guns blazing and hope to score a goal or two then close shop, or

Resort to a double decker bus and allow us to attack and resort to counter attack.

De Gea has fumbled some saves of late and it's a sign of a good goalkeeper dip in form.

This game will be decided in Midfield. If we control that and keep them penned in we'll suffocate and frustrate them. We want to be playing the game in their half. They will be looking for fouls in and around our area.

It's been said but if he turns up and attempts a defensive strategy the mancs will get ripped. Gone are the days when they had a robust defence and could have men set for the break, they are a shambles right now and will crumble.
Get over to the sh*te caff and check out their confidence levels with their manager and the team.

I think you're underestimating how tough Mourinho can make it for the opposition. I'll be very surprised if we steam roll them and I can see it being a frustrating night from a mile off - even more so if they score the first goal. You don't particularly need good or tough defenders to see a game out though, you just need good organisation, and that's something Mourinho can offer them. The minute we have any sort of momentum or pick the tempo up I will bet you now that one of their players will go down with an injury. De Gea will be taking ages on goal kicks (I bet he gets booked at some point for doing so), and they'll do the same with throw ins and free kicks. They will defend deep with bodies behind the ball and break whenever they can using Rashford and Martial.

I think we're a better team than United and have more of a spirit about us but I think they have more match winners in their side which could ultimately decide the game.  I'm still not fully convinced we have the tools to break a team down when they sit behind the ball.

I expect us to win, I'm confident (don't know how anybody can't be with the way we're playing at the moment), but I think we are in for a tough game and it won't be as straight forward as many think.
