I'm so against technology and I've seen players ruin games far more times than referees have. Mistakes, by players, managers or refs, are what makes the game for me, far too much of life is sanitised already.

      Not game costing mistakes.

      It's completely unfair.

No one would say the game is worse off after goal line technology. It would be the same if we introduced a system for offsides or a replay system. Just look at rugby the game has not suffered one bit. In fact you might see a little more sportsmanship and fair play because they players know they are under the microscope more.

I voted for Matip as well Skip,I like the look of the lad.

      Me too..
He looks very cool on the ball and confident going forward
      Intelligent passes,
That through ball for Can in the second half was inch perfect.

Saying that I voted for Iron Man Milner..
The mans like a f***in duracell rabbit ..
a free one at that.. ;D

Not the worst result for me first half was average second was much better. 2 points of top after 8 tough matches unbeaten in 6 I'll take that.

Arguing against technology in our sport is akin to arguing against air traffic control in aviation. Refereeing mistakes ruin games, seasons, and campaigns, so if we need to stop the game a bit longer to get the correct call, so be it. Then you can't complain about the decision afterwards.

Can should have had a penalty in Monday for shirt pulling before his shot. The rules say shirt pulling is a foul. Why wasn't it given? Because we can't use the resources we have. It's a joke.

Crumbs, using that analogy, 3 penalties against us, every game, when Skrtel played for us.

Comparing it to ATC though, that's gloriously banal and not, comparatively, in the same ball park.

Only two real changes I'd make, neither technological. Timekeeping should be out of the referees' hands and a panel of three refs should review games, not the old farts at the FA, and they can rescind cards and punish players and referees.

I wish I still had the link, but a review of referees a few years back, in the Premier League, came back with them calling 91% of decisions  correctly.

Mistakes are my favourite part of the game.

I was in work yesterday, so missed it all, got home at the final whistle. But I did see a photo of Liverpool 'fans' in the front row of the main stand, videoing or photographing maureen as he walked down the touch line, there is half the problem.

Better than actually shooting him mate.

Even if 99% of decisions are right, 1% of mistakes over a long season is still a lot. Nowadays in England anyway, goalline technology is a simple but 100% accurate way of deciding whether a goal is scored or not. In a couple of years, it's done more good for the game than those statues on the touchline pretending to referee a game. Even with perfect views, they still miss things.

If there was no ATC, I'm sure 91% of flights would land safely. Except 91% is not enough. That's why we have technology to help them land safely, so the chances of mistakes are as minimal as possible.

It's clear what should have happened to Skrtel for what he got up in the penalty area. But he's gone now, so his attempts to defend corners properly are now someone else's problem.

Because Chelsea scored after 30 seconds so Maureen's plans go in the bin, if we'd done the same then the scoreline would have been the same. Plus the fact that we were a bit sh*t in the first half of that match.

Because Maureen never dared attack us or we'd pick them off. He daren't set up like that at the bridge or he'd be a laughing stock. All the bollocks about the tactical genius, there's about 8 teams in the prem prepared to play like that, so whats genius about it ? They at least get an occasional shot on goal. The same sides then don't go and get roasted at the bridge. He's lost it ! The rent boys couldn't get him out quick enough, and the mancs took him on. F.F.S It looks like he's lost half the dressing room already. Spent force.

As does the keeper deciding to have a circus moment against them but play quality against us. Usual stuff.

Because he was shitting it against us thats why.

Six across the back to keep our forward line out.

He knew if he came out to play he would get murdered as one of their own fans said match day on Red Cafe.

He had to come out against the early Chelsea goal and what happened was the same as we would have done to him..... if not worst
