International break out of the way, Klopp has had them feeding on raw meat in training so time to get back to business.

Anything other than a complete hammering is going to be seen as disappointing, I am personally predicting that we will surpass the Hull score.

Always an extra incentive to rub it into a Moyes team.

Bearing in mind we will probably have 70% of the ball I would give Sturridge a run out, move Coutinho back to the Lallana position, no point risking Adam in this sort of game.

      Karius
      Clyne
      Matip
      Lovren
      Milner

      Hendo
      Gini
      Coutinho

      Mane
      Firmino
      Sturridge

      Marius
      Clyne
      Matip
      Lovren
      Milner

      Hendo
      Gini
      Coutinho

      Mane
      Firmino
      Sturridge

Only change for me would be Karius for Marius, but other than that, I agree with your team!!

Though I really can't see Klopp dropping Can tbh,  so I suspect we'll see the same team that played vs Southampton against Sunderland.

With those players missing and their "reserves" coming in, they'll probably be a lot stronger!

Don't underestimate the black cats now they have a good win under their belt. They'll be pumped up for sure.
      I would certainly play studge.
Time for him to start some games in my opinion. Fully respect what the boss is doing and who he is currently selecting to start games but I would love to get Daniel up to speed again. I feel he is still incredibly under rated by many of our fans.

I would like to see Origi and Sturridge be given their chance. Yes Coutinho, Firmino and Mane are very very good and have good stats, but I think Klopp is not very fair when he plays these 2 truly talented strikers only 10-20 min per game.

I'd go with the team stated in the opener IF Lallana is out - much covered discussion of that one in the Sturridge thread.

I did read from someone on here who knows or bumped into Lallana's uncle? That he said he was a possible doubt for this one too.

That said, I cannot see Klopp starting Sturridge he's clearly not a favourite these days and I reckon he'll start with the same team he did at Southampton.

Either way, I'm pretty confident we'll get a good result, plus it's always nice to stick it to that whingey arse manager of theirs.

Keep the team as close to our starting XI as possible, no point resting players, we need everyone firing and this should be a confidence booster.

I'm going 6-0, can't see any less than 4 going in against these.

Another 3 points to the Reds' unless there is a major upset, which is highly unlikely. Moyes' depressing run at Anfield, set to continue, with Sunderland's main aim should be damage limitation regarding the score line.

      Aye that was me.

Said he'd be missing for Southampton and Sunderland, that was last week so could be back ahead of schedule, although I wouldn't be risking him.

Was chatting to him last night again but he never mentioned Adam, so I assume nothing has changed and he'll not be available for selection.

Think we can afford to take one of Gini/Can out (Can for me, very poor last week) and drop Coutinho into the middle so we can get Sturridge into the team for this one.

Work hard and stick to our principles we should have more than enough for these.

Could Sturridge get a start? He could do with a league goal and we could do with a finisher in a game where we will create many chances.

I hope we bury one of our first oppertunities and draw them out. Waste them again and it could become stressful.

Why?? I really don't get this obsession with shoe-horning Sturridge into the team at all costs, its really weird.

I think we should stick with the team which has been demolishing teams left right and centre and lets go for a big big scoreline to improve the goal difference and send out a real message of intent.

Same team as usual for me.  No dropping Cou into midfield to accomodate Studge he'll get his start on Tuesday against Leeds.  We've got 8 games in the next 5 weeks, followed by an even busier January if we win the Cup game next Tuesday so plenty of opportunities and need for rotation.

I'm glad they've got a couple of wins under their belt, it'll give them some confidence to try and take points off us instead of attempting to close up shop and take a draw.

We'll have far too much for them however they decide to play, I'm confident of a decent win for the Reds.  6-0 minimum.

Somehow their lot seem incredibly confident going into this game. Seen some predictions of 3-1 to them, 1-0 to them, 2-1 to them, 2-2 draws etc. A few people think they'll get battered.

Not getting carried away with this game, I obviously think we will win but not by massive numbers, (I hope I'm wrong) tbh any win will do me, 3 points is a must, as Chelsea take on Spurs and pretty sure they'll beat them, so we have to keep the pressure on.

Hope to see Lallana back, if not I'm sure Jürgen will tweak the team accordingly, seems too long since I was at Anfield - 6th November when we smashed Watford, be good if it was a similar scoreline as we welcome Kate to Anfield for the first time, I'm sure she'll have a fabulous time whatever the score :) sing loud and proud on the Kop Kate  :scarf:

Come on you mighty Reds lets beat Moyes boys  :lmao:

Even with their reserves they think they'll win, I'm baffled :D. I've wanted these fuckers relegated for god knows how long. I remember a year after they last got promoted and their fans, players, manager, owner etc. were going on about how they're going to be challenging for European places and trophies. Obviously, what ensued were relegation dog fights every season.

move Coutinho back to the Lallana position

..something I would love to see happen in the long term. Phil's eye for a pass and ability to carry the ball thru a midfield would be immense for a pacy attacking front-3, depending on the wingers/strikers we buy over the next 2 windows!

Agree 100%. I've always loved the idea of playing Phil central. He now has the work rate to match his skill and play effectively through the middle.

But for now, Lallana has been immense and the way the team is set up is working as it is.

Still too many doubters mate.  Still too many scared of being confident because of past disappointments.  Still too many not wanting to jinx things.  Still too many unsure of how good we are.

Let's stay focus and not let complacency gets in the way. 3 points will be great and a big winning margin will be a bonus. But we have to perform well over 90 minutes to take the 3 points. Keep the pressure on Chelsea that's all I'm asking and don't let them slip away.

The nerve of Paddy Barclay coming into Friday Night football today; bigging up Moyesey and predicting a draw! pissed off they gave him the air time to babble on about that when should have been focusing LFC scoring and how many Moysey won't let in.
Here's hoping for a cricket score line to shut that Paddy Barclay up!

      Cheers Crouchie mate.

So Moyes has come out and said he is going to park a double decker bus, the F***ing unadventurous fucktard.

Hopefully we come out and smash their tyres all over the park.

I've gone for 8-1 ..think Defoe might nick one when it's all over but have a feeling this is the game we have been threatening to smash for a while now.

I would like to see Origi and Sturridge play and let Coutinho and Firmino or Mane rest. We'll have a very difficult end of year and our strikers can do the job. I personnally think it's not a good idea to put these two talented lads on the bench for so many games.

Great to see their manager come out and say park the 'double decker bus' - total anti football... The fact some are praising him is a joke - he should be lambasted for that attitude.

However, we know exactly what they will do and we know what we have to do.

Im hoping for a bloody cricket score here to show other teams it wont work and to highlight the anti footaball clown Moyes is.

Agree. With Lallana out, Bobby should be dropping back and let someone else lead the line.

Could see a some changes in personnel and a change of formation today as Jürgen says a few players are struggling with fitness.

Have a good day everyone and especially Kate on your first visit to Anfield and the City.  I'll not be there to meet you hun as finances won't allow but you'll be well looked after by the deightful Cas  xxxxx:action-smiley-065:

Even tho' he'll set out to defend by parking two buses (with flat tyres) we will hit Moyes' sh*t for six.

Make no mistake lads n lasses... they're a bad lot.

On a side... loving the language people are using in the confidence they're showing: it sounds sooo familiar.  8)

Gollum couldn't get a win at Anfield on FIFA playing against a blind man. We'll murder 'em. That Djilobodji is a clown yet he kept getting picked so just imagine how bad his replacement must be. This is much a banker as we're ever likely to get in the Premier League.

Probably one of the reasons he is not starting as he can't be relied on to put in a string of games without getting injured.

At least Firmino has managed to get a understanding with Mane and Couts because he is fit every week.
