Karius should have been signed up as backup to a more experienced pro until ready . Unimaginable to think a club as big as us have 2 goalkeepers who no one is confident of

They deserve a beating after having both games last season. Also factor in last weekends capitulation at Bournemouth and I'm sure we'll have a good result. Matip back is a massive boost, so I'm going 3-0. Clean sheet to boot! 👍🏻

hope we start with some desire and pace and not so sloppy with and without the ball.

hope we don't collapse at the back and give away free goals.

don't want to see Can starting

Three goals already in the PL, doing OK surely. Would have him ahead of Gino in the pecking order anyway.   Hope if Lallana starts he's a lot sharper than he was last week, though in fairness he was just back from a long layoff.
Big game, 'Can't wait to get it started, hopefully the lads will tear them a new orifice..

Mignolet is better than Karius as of right now (and probably would have saved us a point in our last game) but Klopp can't drop Karius. Karius is young, not adjusted to the PL...he needs time, he needs the whole season no matter what. If you drop him now or in some weeks you take any confidence from him and he'd be finished here, can't do that. I trust Klopp that his vision of Karius having potential to become an upgrade to Mignolet is true.

For the game itself: I want a win and I want a convincing win, no a shaky one like in our last home game. Our team needs to breathe through their balls again, not their lungs!!!

I wouldn't have Can start. I just don't think he fits our style, he isn't mobile enough and just seems to slow us down. Not the biggest fan of Gini but he keeps things ticking over and he fits our style much better imo.

Just seems when Can plays that our midfield becomes very easy to play through. He's a good player but I just don't think he is suited to or style of play.

Will go with Can more physically suited to West Hams players and goal tally better. Wijaldnum is tidy nothing more still waiting to see why 25M was parted with.

Can't see any reason why we can't batter these,i think last weekend was a kick up the arse tbh,and we will go on another long run,you can't win them all,4-1 to the Mighty Reds.

      For Bournemouth, see Burnley !!!!
Another avoidable cock up, down to management of the game from the boss, or mental collapse of the players, or a bit of both.
sh*t happens ! Now on for another 12 match unbeaten run, and back to the top.
Other contenders will also lose and draw matches before the seasons over. We are still in there and a good thrashing of the hammers will do us the world of good, confidence wise. 3 - 1 to the red men !
Pissed its on Sunday again though.

We were complacent and careless the last round and starting Lucas in defence is a big no no to me. No one covered the arc around our box that led to them having all the time in the world to shoot while hendo nowhere to  be seen to cover those holes. What has happened to Sakho , if we're short of options at the moment just bring him back. Klopp gotto bury the hatchet, we're short of options at the back, otherwise the hatchet will bury us and I'm impressed that Sakho hasn't started talking. We need every able body to battle on and no time to bi*ch around what happened in the recent past. We need to keep the heat on those above us in the table. They will slip at some point of time and we need to capitalise on that.
