Pot,kettle ?? Us "oldies" used to do it back in the 70s.Now I wouldn't drive after one bottle of Becks.Bobby WILL learn from his "mistake" (we still don't know the details)as yet.
Can't understand some on here saying to "drop" him.No one died.Fine him yes and donate it to charity.

I think it's fair to say that maybe it's worth waiting till he is actually convicted of Drunk Driving and all the facts of the case are known by everyone.
Unless you lot actually know ALL the facts , it's probably better to refrain from hanging, hugging or explaining for him.

In the Evra affair he was innocent. Nobody has shown me anything to prove otherwise.

But I wasn't referring to Evra's but to Ivanovic incident.

Firmino made a mistake, nobody was hurt so it's something he can accept his punishment for and move on from. Doesn't look like it will impact his game.

Very irresponsible behavior. Wouldn't drop him as he doesn't have any history of disruptive behavior in the club, but would fine him and ask him to release a statement acknowledging his stupidity.

Still cannot for the life of me understand why players at this day and age take such stupid risks. Those who say "We all make mistakes" need to remember, we're not all on 100k a week with every paparazzi on our tail as a role model. Doesn't excuse things for me.

My Mrs' brother is quite high up within Merseyside Police. Of course he wouldn't allude to what, or who, but he's told me on a few occasions how surprised people would be at the amount of famous footballers that get arrested/locked up on Merseyside.

He's made a bad decision, the news has got out and people want him hung. He made a mistake and won't be the last to do what he did and he will learn from it.

      Move on.

Bet those that have lost loved ones to drunk drivers where pissin themselves

An example should have been made of him Klopp should have publically hung him out to dry. All this talk of Liverpool being 'more than a club' is rubbish if we don't condemn such reckless stupidity.

'Drink driving' is far removed from 'Drunken driving'
My lad lost his licence for 6 months for being marginally over the limit.
Thought he was clear with 1 cider which he never actually finished.
He hadn't eaten, and it was his first drink for about a month following s highly intensive training regime over the month, getting in shape for the new season.
It happens, but he was never remotely drunk !
Last time he'll make that mistake though.
To make things clear for everyone, the law should be
      'NO DRINK AND DRIVE'
No margins for error then !

A public flogging is exactly what was in order it was becumbent on the club to emphasis a complete zero tolerance of drink driving and I don't think they have. Think of the managers response if it had been Sakho

But you have no idea what has been said behind closed doors , well I'm glad we haven't publicly roasted a player , we all know he's been and made a stupid mistake which hopefully he will learn from .
