Could we see a shocking appearance from big mama?

Better chance of seeing Coutinho at CB before Sakho.

And also a better chance of Ian Rush starting than Sakho  :D

I think we will see a fair few of the second teamers

      Karius
      TAA
      Moreno
      Gomez
      Stuart
      Ejaria
      Lucas
      Woodburn
      Ojo

Maybe not all starting but I would imagine they will all see some action.

There will be alterations that there is no doubt but let's not forget we are chasing a treble of domestic Trophies and I'd like us to be ramping it up if you want in our pursuit of all three,

I'd like to see a mixture of youth and experience with the emphasis on experience, it's a opportunity to give 3\4 younger players first team game time and to test whether they are capable of stepping up,
OK it's Plymouth Argyle but I don't f***in care I want us to be ruthless,

                            Karius
       Trent AA.  Lovren Klavan.  Gomez
                             Stewart
            Brannagan.    Wijnaldum
      Lallana.      Sturridge.   Firmino

Bench ; George,  Lucas,  Origi, Ojo, Wilson Ejaria, Woodburn

If Branners isn't fit I'd put young Harry in his stead, I'd also like to see Ojo get some time maybe second half in place of Lallana depending what score it is,  and Woodburn come on around 65mins,

This should be a breeze but I still want us to be wary,  this is their cup final and will give everything to scalp us,

If our most prospect youngsters such as TAA, Woodburn, Ejaria, Ojo and Gomez not allow to feature in this game then I will start to question Klopp and the club's policy on the academy products.

Kids were playing most of our league games towards the end of last season so I think it's fair to say we've got a manager more than prepared to give the lads a chance.

I wouldn't be playing all the kids for this game though because we've had a week off and we've got two games next week of arguably way more importance.

Some first teamers need to be kept ticking over for the United game and a little run out against Plymouth might be it for them before next Sunday.

Gut feeling is this FA Cup team could be a stronger line up than the first leg of the semi final.

I would play the younger side in FA cup with some back up on the bench in case it is needed, since we should be okay against league 2 sides. We need a strong squad against Southampton in the league cup semi. There is still 4 days rest between before united.

Am sure Klopp will make a few changes, with injuries, coming off the new year schedule, and with the game next midweek as well as the Utd game following weekend, has to rotate.

      EH ?

Klopp played youngsters loads last season and this season in the league cup, woodburn made his debut this season making him youngest ever LFC player, if thats not giving youth a chance I dont know what is.

And 2 of the players you mention have been out with long term injuries, but both have been back playing with u23s, expect at least 1 to start from Gomez & Ojo.

ps. Klopp today said there will be many changes, I expect very few of the sunderland starting 11 to start. Sturridge & Milner defo out, still recovering from knocks, maybe make the bench.

From today's presser, Matip, Coutinho and Milner definitely out but Sturridge apparently trained today and maybe can be part of Sunday's squad, at least. He pretty much said that Gomez will be starting. I didn't see Ojo's name mentioned, but as stated, Klopp is planning a good bit of rotation for this one.

      From The Echo:
      '
"Asked about Philippe Coutinho and Joel Matip, Klopp added: “They’re in a very good way but not for the weekend. We were lucky that we had no proper injury after the (Sunderland) game.

“Millie (James Milner) had his little issue with his calf, we’re not sure if because of the intensity and everything if it’s a little bit more and it was more. But I’m pretty sure we will not take the risk with him.”

Daniel Sturridge was substituted at the Stadium of Light after injury and has not yet returned to training.

“Daniel didn’t train until now - for no foul! Sorry just a a little flashback. Probably today (for training). Then it depends how he feels, that how it is, but should be possible.”

Asked if his squad would need to rotate for the FA Cup game, with the semi-final of the EFL Cup coming up next Wednesday, Klopp added: “Yes, I would think so. Not because of the last game, maybe because of the next game in this case. I’m pretty sure we will see a few fresh legs on the pitch.

Heavy hints from Klopp Gomez will start, so Id reckon its Gomez & Lucas at the back. Senior CB's wont be risked (I think). Karius is a defo as well.

This is perhaps the team ?

      ------------ Karius --------------
      - TAA - Lucas(c) - Gomez - Moreno -
       ---- Ejaria -- Can --Stewart----
      ---Ojo -- Woodburn -- Firmino --

Feel a bit bad for Sakho if he doesn't get a game in this though. This all started with false accusations of doping. He was cleared but never really got back into the squad. You can only imagine there was some very heated things said back stage. It can't be about the tweet, there is next to nothing in that! I seen way worse said. He missed his place in the Euro thanks to the false doping claims and lost his team. He should get compensation really.
Not that I think it was a good idea to tweet that, but some serious stuff must have been said behind the scenes, because if it is just that tweet then the treatment of Sakho has been a bit unjust.
