      I'd go with:

      Karius

      Alexander-Arnold
      Lucas (c)
      Gomez
      Moreno

      Emre Can
      Stewart
      Ejaria

      Woodburn
      Sturridge
      Ojo

Subs: Mignolet; Lovren, Klavan; Henderson, Wijnaldum; Coutinho; Origi.

With games coming thick and fast and the running the lads did yesterday, I'd keep only Arnold-Alexander and Klavan in the side and rotate the rest. Any player on our books should be good enough to win!

No I think I'd approach this a bit differently, I'd actually start with a mix between 1st XI and reserves and hit them hard from the off then rest a few players after you get a few goals. Couts could maybe do a with a start as well as Henderson and maybe Matip if we can sort out this crap with the Cameroon FA. I'd rest Firmino, Milner and Can although probably have them on the bench.

I would do the young lads again with an experienced mix.

I bet they must have learnt from their previous experience.

      I would go with

Karius, TAA, Gomes, Lucas, Moreno, Henderson (to build up match fitness), Grujic (if fit)/ Ejaria, Stewart, Ojo, Woodburn, Sturridge.

It'll be predominantly the kids plus seniors needing match fitness I'd say.

Sounds like Matip will play, Grujic possibly and also possibly Cou and Studge.  Be great to see a Matip/Gomez CB combo  ;D

Even if we play the kids again they will not slip up this time, they will be out for revenge and I expect them to hammer Plymouth.

With early match on Sat, expect Klopp to field very similar side to last time out ie. the kids. And hopefully the lads will get bit more space in their 3rd with Plymouth maybe venturing over half way occasionally.

The kids will play no doubt (many were omitted from the U23s game tonight), I expect a couple more seniors to appear. T be honest, I expect a couple more seniors to actually put in a decent performance and not take them for granted like they arrogantly appeared to do last Sunday.

P.S. Whatever happened to Grujic? Is he injured?

Seen quite a few people ask this mate. He's been injured but it seemed to go unnoticed, there has been very little mentioned about it from the club.

Been some sort of weird tendon injury but he's back training now I believe.

We need Coutinho back up to match fitness  so would start him and give him an hour

Sturridge needs game time as he is not getting any at the moment and we need to get Coutinho match fit so he should start.
The only other seniors i would start are Lucas, Moreno and hopefully Matip.

Rumour mills are that Lucas is injured, hence why he wasn't on the bench Sunday, and Wilson is starting.

      So possibly

      Karius
      TAA
      Gomez
      Matip
      Moreno

      Stewart
      Grujic
      Ejaria

      Cou
      Sturridge
      Wilson

Subs: Migs, Klaven/Lovren, Millner, Lallana/Gini, Woodburn, Ojo, Origi.

Finally get to see Wilson in the first team. Been waiting about 10 years :D.

Feels like it doesn't it mate.  Seems weird that he got his senior international call up, what is it, 3 or 4 years ago but still hasn't had his senior club debut.

Course the rumours could be a load of bollocks but hopefully he'll make the bench and get some minutes if he doesn't start.  He genuinely deserves it after the season he's had.

IMO that had nothing to do with Wilson ability wise, it was pure politics. Wales just didn't want Wilson to get to the level where England would come knocking to turn his head.

I know that mate but they really didn't need to as he's a proud Welshman and unlike Raheem dangling the Jamaica carrot to the English FA, Wilson had never even hinted he'd be interested in any team other than Wales.

Yep that's the way I see it to,...

                     Karius
      TAA Matip Gomez Milner
                Henderson
      Ojo.      Ejaria     Coutinho
            Sturridge. Woodburn

Bench,  Migs, Lucas, Grujic, Bobby, Lallana,  Origi, Moreno

Get the game won, rest the first teamers with the exception of Matip Hendo & Cou who need the minutes
