Think they are too busy working out how the f*** a 48 team world cup is going to work, and which federations are going to get the extra 16 spots

      That's already been sorted out.

      "The proposed breakdown would comprise: Europe 16 teams (13 currently); Africa 9 (5); Asia 8.5 (4.5), South America 6 (4.5), Concacaf 6.5 (3.5), Oceania 1 (0.5), Host nation 1 (1)."

Absolute joke that anything like this should occur in the modern game. The amount of money FIFA drain from the game and pour into their corrupt pockets and still they manage to run it like incompetent fools.

We pay Joel around £100k a week I guess, so the true cost of this to us could be around £400k and that's accounting for his injury, without it it'd be nearer £1m by all accounts. That type of 'delay' is probably tantamount to gross negligence and open to sue in nearly every other industry I can think of, infuriating and that's just the employment cost. In terms of football the cost is clearly unknown but we can all speculate what a difference Joel would have made in those games, truth is we'll never know and should never be in the position where we are left wondering.

What legal advice is that then, "erm Mr Klopp we are a bit nervous that the mighty Cameroon FA might win a legal challenge forcing a retired player to play for his country against his wishes and human rights". Get to F**k, very unhappy at this gutless approach by the club, play Matip and F**k the Cameroon FA, let them take it to court if they want! The again it is PLymouth, no disrespect, and if it can be sorted out by Friday diplomatically then that might be the more smooth route but personally I'd fight this on the general principle of standing up to bullies and dictatorial regimes like the Cameroon FA. BTW why are Fifa and our FA not telling the Cameroon FA to F**k off, are they scared of them as well?

We risk sanctions from FIFA mate so potentially thrown out of the Cup and if he is risked in a league game, points deduction.

This is FIFA so common sense goes out of the window unfortunately.

I know, better safe than sorry and all that, but this whole situation is absurd and we and/or Joel should be suing the Cameroon FA for the inconvenience an disruption of all this.

The first game at Anfield was a terrible watch. I couldn't care less if it was our youngest ever team or whatever else people chose to use as an excuse. This is a competitive game, in the 3rd round of the FA cup, Jürgen needs to pick an 11 capable of doing the F***ing job and showing Plymouth some respect.

Right, now that my little bi*ch fit is out of the way lets move onto what I want to be tonights team.

Karius - Im not in favour of swapping keepers every few games but he did really well at Southampton recently and Id like to keep Mignolet on his toes for league games.

TAA - He struggled at United and that game came a bit soon for him. This game is a different test altogether and one I expect him to handle if he wants a future at LFC. Throw him in.

Gomez - Slowly easing him back into our team and this is a decent fixture to test him in. He was my motm in the game at anfield and I expect another top performance from him. We have a real player on our books in Joe.

Lucas - Steady Eddy Lucas. The perfect partner for Gomez in my opinion. Did nothing wrong in the first game and handled Plymouths big strong CB very well.

Moreno - I think his days are numbered at Anfield and he has half a dozen or so games left for us if that. This is one of them. He has to take his chance. Defend well, attack well, and id go as far as saying he needs to start making assists or perhaps even scoring for people to take notice of him again.

Stewart - Absolutely identical to where Moreno finds himself. Hes 23 now, hes no kid, but he is nowhere near the standard required. He should be knocking on Hendos, Wijnaldums, Cans, Lallanas door fighting to take their shirts from them but he isn't, hes nowhere near their standard, so whats he doing on our books then? The only reason I want him to play tonight is to give two of those players a rest. Not because I rate him.

Can - With some important games coming up I think its crucial that we rest Hendo & Wijnaldum, so can gets the nod for me.

Lallana - We need some experience and some proven quality in the team so the likes of Ejaria miss out in my side and Lallana comes in.

Coutinho - I think we can afford to give him a start now. Let him run riot and then take him off at 60 mins, or even half time depending on the scoreline.

Firmino - Again, we need some quality so im sorry Ojo I don't want to see you tonight. Again, drag him off after 60 mins or half time.

Sturridge - No need to play Origi in this one, we won't be doing much pressing. It'll all be possession play in Plymouths half so this game SHOULD suit Daniel perfectly. If he starts I expect him to score a brace.

Come on reds for fucks sake.

Swap Firmino for Woodburn (he did pretty well first leg) and I would go for a similar team.

      Hmm.

Discussing why he hasn't been selected for tonight's game in tonight's match thread as opposed to talking about it in his player thread where the rules state:

"LFC Player Threads: Player specific discussion about match performances, ability and development of the Liverpool squad".

I 100% refuse to ever break forum rules and everybody knows this.....

The Echo had a list of those who traveled (incomplete, mind) and it included Klavan, but not Lovren. I'm sure Gomez will start but am wondering who is next to him. Lucas also made the trip and it's probably him IF he is fit to go 90 minutes.

I mentioned 4-4-2 yesterday with Sturridge and Firmino. Sturridge and Origi would be alright as well. Sounds like Gini to start in midfield.
