To me we are playing one of the worst sides in football, now is the perfect game for a youngster like Ojo to be starting. Use him as a direct replacement for Mane as he is the only one that has anything even close when it comes to full speed.

I can see using Lallana up front in difficult fixtures but he does not excel up there like he does coming in from the mid-field...put that starting XI and let Ojo play with good players around him and I think he would thrive.

Really no harm to the starting XI putting him in there and leaving Can on the bench.

      Migs
      Clyne Lovren Klaven Milner
      Lallana Hendo Gini
      Ojo Firmino Coutinho

      Get Lallana back in midfield....

We've tried the swapping and changing of players positions filling in and it's unsettled our balance, fluidity and system, just go back to what we do best.

This is the most important bit for me.  Our best performances came on the back of a midfield trio of Hendo-Gini-Lallana.  Get our engine room working right again and the rest will fall into place.  Don't care if it's Ojo, Studge, Origi, or Woodburn on the right as long as they press, track back, run in behind, and offer the same sort of energy that Mane does for 90 minutes.

Lookin forward to getting the weekend off to footballing/winning start against Swansea ...

                Mignolet
      Clyne Lovren Matip/Klaven Milner
         Lallana Hendo Can
       Firmino Sturridge Coutinho

Against this lot, starting Hendo/Can/Gini might be a bit conservative, would be good to see 4 from Lallana/Cou/Firmino/Studge/Origi.
Get the win in early, push on from the underwhelming Plymouth matches, and apply a little bit of pressure on the other chasers.

Yeah, Like Sunderland. Never count your chickens.
Going for a comfortable win myself, but always a nagging doubt in these games. For a start, It goes without saying, Their keeper is almost certainly gonna have a blinder. There now i've been and said it.
Quite like bmck's selection above, but wouldn't be too unhappy to see Ojo start.Or maybe replace Can if he's on the negative again.

If we don't play this game at a high pressing tempo and really punish Swansea I'll be bitterly dissapointed. Swansea are sh*t and we have a point to prove to the league, we need to get our mojo back and go on a good run.

Yeah..would rather fit Ojo up there and have the manger just tell him to run down the touchline as fast as you can then keep putting Lallana up top.

Made me laugh that, I know that wasn't your intention but I had images of Ojo randomly sprinting in straight lines up and down the pitch with no involvement in the game just acting like a sprinter when Klopp shout run.....

      Think I need some sleep!

If we haven't worked out that the worse the opposition are the poorer we play then we're in trouble.

We say it year after year but too many teams are coming to Anfield week after week and sitting deep then battening down the hatches in hope of a point or to snatch a counter goal.
It does me swede in.. >:(
This season we've overcome that really well with our direct front three of Mane,Firmino and either Origi or Porridge causing havoc with the link up play from midfield, quick movement off the ball, wide players running and clinical finishing in front of goal..... then BOOM! Coutinho got injured, Mane disappeared now Firming's off the boil..Danny and Divock haven't been able to mix it up together because, for me, they've been playing too far out wide and just haven't hit the target, despite having the chances, which is disappointing.

It's a straight run now to May and we've got a brilliant opportunity to stamp our authority and pick up some silverware on the way and what better way to prove that than four home games on the bounce

Swansea need to be annihilated I'm afraid.no sympathy, no excuses. they really are sh*te..

      First game of the weekend..
get the 3 points in the bag and keep our foot on the gas..

Not too much ask is it?

I think it would be worth going 4-4-1'1 or 4-4-2 in games like this. I think we would stretch teams more .

I think too much is made of formations.

I always get the impression that it's more more like a 3-1-6 when we are attacking and a 4-5-1 when defending.

However as always with LFC it's the transition that normally catches us out, contrary to popular belief we are pretty good defensively off second phase of play.

I'm predicting another performance mirroring recent ones but getting a vital 1 nil win to leave us 4 off Chelsea who then fail to break hull down in a nil all draw. And city do spurs.

Team id go with assuming clyne isn't ready

      Mignolet

      AA lovern matip Moreno

      . Hendo lallana Milner

       sturridge Firmino coutinho

It's genuinely strange to see someone with more than 10,000 posts mention moreno in a squad! It's usually 'BIGGESTSCOUSEYNWAFAN101' with 6 posts that puts Moreno in a squad cause he looks good on the old youtubes

What's all this talk of scraping a 1-0, F**k that, Swansea are sh*t and we have Couts back as well as Matip. If we don't win this by 2 or 3 goals I'll be pissed off.
