Missed the first 8 mins and we're up 2-0? wtf ;D

Ojo's goal should've stood, not offside.

I really really really really like Jordan Rossiter and Pedro Chirivella.

I think Rossiter will struggle in the early stages of his professional years due to his physicality, so I think it'll take him a couple of years to adapt to the pace and strength of the PL. If we're patient enough, I think he has the potential to be one of the best defensive midfielders around.

As for Chirivella, I want to see him play in the first team asap. His role isn't as physically demanding as a defensive midfielder so I think he'll be good for us next season.

A great win for the youths against Derby that included a brace for both Harry Wilson and Jordan Sinclair. I've got great hopes for both of these kids not to mention several others from the side too!

"The match will have to be played at Anfield as is a requirement in the FA Youth Cup that all ties from the fifth round onward are played at the clubs home stadium."

      http://www.thefa.com/fa-youth-cup/fixtures

Saturday 31 January 2015    Fifth Round Proper
      Kick Off    No.    Home       Away
19:00    3    Liverpool    VS    Birmingham City

      Darren Wassall, Derby’s Academy Manager.
“They had five clear cut chances and the scored five goals. They didn’t really pepper our goal, our goalkeeper didn’t make lots of saves, but the quality of their finishing was second to none."

If only that could be transposed to our first team :f_tongueincheek:

Unlucky lads. Lost to the citeh 3-2 today.

The amount of goals they've leaked this season is quite frankly shocking.

It's not about results at this stage of their career, it's about getting good performances individually from each of them.

Indeed. I remember Yan Dhanda saying they focused more on winning at West Brom's academy and it's more about the individuals here, which he likes a better.

Quite. Sadly it does like our current crop, on an individual basis, aren't the strongest defenders. Still, defenders blossom later and sometimes their talent is harder to spot. I wouldn't have bet money on Flanagan making it here, but he proved me wrong enough.
