That Leicester player with the Afro... Makes Fellaini's hair look manageable.

Oh what a goal...  Fantastic pass from Dhanda and great control in the box from Nicholas, before slotting it past the keeper.

      2-0 the Reds.

Shame I'm not watching this. Sounds like the young lads are taking the opportunity by the scruff of the neck. I think it says a lot about our Academy when a few of our under 21's are out on loan so the under 18's have had to make the step up and the same goes for the 16's.

They're doing great.  We got absolutely hammered in the mini Derby due to so many u16's playing but they're really showing how good they are.  They may not win if they run out of steam but they can go away from this game proud of themselves mate.

It 2-2 now. Not hugely surprised. The big difference between U18 and U16 is the matches are shorter at U16 level. Younger players can't match the stamina of the older ones. It was always likely that it would get a lot harder in the second half.

Expected the same mate.  This Leicester team is a big side too but it's still great to see our Baby Reds having a go.

Well done lads, great goal from Maxwell.  Made a difference since Herbie Kane came on.

What a ball from the keeper, nearly set up another goal.  Unlucky from Kane to just miss from that header.

The Ajax Future Cup is this weekend, and our under 17 team will be part of the tournament again. We did quite well last year, reached the final but lost to Ajax. This year besides us and Ajax, the other teams are Juventus, Schalke, Porto, Galatasaray, Celtic and Anderlecht.

This is this weekend's schedule: (adjusted to UK time)

      Saturday 4 april:
10:30 uur Ajax - Schalke 04 (Fox Sports en Ajax Exclusive TV)
10:30 uur FC Porto - Galatasaray
12:00 uur Liverpool - Juventus (Fox Sports en Ajax Exclusive TV)
12:00 uur Celtic - RSC Anderlecht
13:30 uur FC Porto - Ajax (Fox Sports en Ajax Exclusive TV)
      13:30 uur Schalke - Galatasaray
15:00 uur Celtic - Liverpool (Fox Sports en Ajax Exclusive TV)
15:00 uur Juventus - RSC Anderlecht

      Sunday 5 april:
10:30 uur Ajax - Galatasaray (Fox Sports en Ajax Exclusive TV)
      10:30 uur FC Porto - Schalke ‘04
12:00 uur Liverpool - RSC Anderlecht (Fox Sports en Ajax Exclusive TV)
      12:00 uur Celtic - Juventus

      Monday 6 april:
      9:00 uur Number 4 Poule A - Number 4 Poule B
      9:00 uur Number 1 Poule A - Number 2 Poule B (semi final 1)
      10:30 uur Number 2 Poule A – Number 1 Poule B (semi final 2)
      10:30 uur Number 3 Poule A – Number 3 Poule B
12:30 uur Loser semi final 1 - Loser semi final 2
      14:00 uur Final

Unfortunately, just like last year I believe, our first match is during when our first team plays. Shame that, would've considered going to watch us against Juventus otherwise. I reckon I'll still go one of the days.

The fixtures that have (Fox Sports en Ajax Exclusive TV) might be available to watch through streams online, as they're aired on Dutch tv. Which is all of Liverpool's games. I'm sure this also counts for the final day if we progress. I'll see if I can find anything about it later today or tomorrow.

Liverpool - Juventus game started, stream can be found here: http://janlul.com/stream1.html
It's a bit of a dodgy site, have to turn adblock off to be able to watch the stream, and then it has a few annoying ads.

Our game against Celtic later today will be aired on that stream too.

Very nice shot there by Juventus that hit the bar.

Also, Ajax won 4-0 against Schalke earlier. FC Porto - Galatasaray 1-1

The Ajax team is quite talented again. Normally Patrick Kluivert's son, Justin Kluivert, is in there too but he's injured. Van der Sar's son Joe is their 2nd keeper.

Kluivert's son :o Will definitely give Ajax a watch.

Also, the guy who shot and hit the post for Juventus looks like Pogba from a distance!!
