Superb free kick from Herbie Kane, 2-0 the Reds.

Fantastic defending there form Parker.  No panic, no lunging in, stayed big and forced their big threat Brewster to pass instead of shoot.

Unlucky again but great play.

Such intelligent pressing from the lads there, we left absolutely nowhere for them to go other than back to the keeper from the half way line.

Bit better anticipation from the forwards and that wouldn't have been 3-0.

Great ball in from AA again after some skill in a tight space on the right.

Well deserved goal for Woodburn

Great determination to win the ball by Lennon out on the touchline then Ejaria takes over to get the ball into the penalty area and even when we lost it the midfielders stepped in to win it back again. 

What a move but AA fluffed his lines after a fantastic through ball from Ejaria.

All Liverpool and now we have a penalty.

Great pen from the Captain AA, 4-0 the Reds.

This really is great stuff from the youngsters, probably the best I've since since Raheem thrashed, can't remember, but he scored 5 goals.

The 18s are taking on City today in the continued end of season play offs.  We're currently 3rd with City in 2nd 3 points and a goal better so a win of 2-0 or more will see us overtake them.  They're a strong team at youth level and are unbeaten since November so it's going to be a tough game for us complicated by injuries to Ejario and Dhanda.

Got a bit of everything those 3 mate.  Strength and power from Gomes, the busyness of Lennon and the tenacity of Woodburn.

City look really strong and very good, need to hang in there. Sad to hear about the injuries especially young dhanda who collided with a team mate and got a bad ankle injury.

We've played reasonably well, created some chances but we've not played as well as we can.

Some of their players are a couple of years older than some of our lads I think.

Dhanda out for a long time now from the sound of it mate.  It's a massive blow at that age as we've seen with so many of our youngsters over the years.

Some of their players are a couple of years older than some of our lads I think.

Some of them have already played in the PL too mate and have been playing in Europe this season.  They're much further on in their development than ours are.
