Kinda crazy that Skrtel's the last man standing of the likes of Hyypia, Carragher and Agger. But like I said the other day, he's playing exactly like he did last season and like he has most of his career here. Our overall crappiness this season has just re-exposed it.

Sell him he's got not defensive brain just likes to smash and grab, he needs to learn to read the game better but at nearly 28yrs of age i cant see him doing it he's had the best around him (carra) and hypia and not learnt it yet.

He brings the worst out of all defenders - by far the worst defender at the club. Everyone criticises Johnson but I'd have Johnson a billion times over this horrendous player.

 An absolute fool who has no communication skills, utterly hopeless at reading the game and consistently heads the ball to opposition players in dangerous areas.

This defence is not going to improve as long as this car-crash of a player is in the team.

A total embarrassment to have him at the club. His goals last year saved him from exposing just how sh*te he really is.

Ridiculous criticism after a clean sheet. He´s not perfect by any means but should get a bit of credit after yesterdays performance instead of black and white nonsense.

It's funny, but go back to the end of last year and these threads were mostly filled with either congratulations or with minor criticisms......it's been a 180 for sure. Speaks to just how bad we have been this year.

Got us the equaliser, but lost us the win - he's still to make up for it personally. He shouldn't be absolved for anything today the complete incompetent fool he is.

Thanks to him, he fu**ed up all momentum and personally shat on on Brendan's half-time team talk.

I don't know what it will take until deluded sentimental folk start to realise he is a massive problem.

That said, the fact he wasn't the worst player today is the most infuriating thing about today (Henderson going AWOL again today, sick fed up of him as well).

Skrtel finally got a goal this season! It was a brilliant header by Martin. Loved the irony that in the added injury time because of Skrtel's injury, Skrtel scores an injury time equalizer with his injury hahaha

BUT, Skrtel was hugely responsible for Arsenal's two goals. The man like never marks. No way should Debuchy have scored. No way should Giroud have gotten a shot off unchallenged. Lovren gets singled out for making costly errors (much of it deserved), but Skrtel is a massive part of our defensive problems. Hell, he's been the only one consistently picked this season and last.

I think that game epitomised everything Skertel.
