What an absolute shocker of a pitch, nothing happening at all in this one.

I don't even have a decent grasp of the rules yet but found this documentary truly brilliant:

Superb documentary that Diego about one of the fastest and most devastating bowling attacks in cricket history, used to love watching bid bad Curtly Ambrose and Courtney Walsh demolishing wickets left, right and centre.

Well a piss poor end to the tour, of course would have taken 2-1 all day long but still none of the questions regarding the other opener, numbers 3 and 5 have been answered and the jury is still out on Woakes and Bairstow's keeping

I would give up my left leg to see a bowling attack like that again. For me the best part about cricket was the fast bowling and since I started watching cricket, my favorite players have been fast bowlers like Ambrose, Allan Donald, Wasim Akram. I have mostly stopped following cricket since the demise of fast bowling.

Fast bowling is still there in force, if not quite up to the West Indies of 70s and 80s, but the main issue nowadays is the control. So many players just wanna bowl as fast as they can that they don't know how to control it and it ends up being a wasteful delivery.

I watched my first ever game of cricket this week. A friend of mine on an Australian football forum has been trying to get me into the sport, knowing that I am a baseball fan, so I downloaded the first Australia v India T20 match (it's obviously not broadcasted here).

For a fan of baseball, it really isn't hard to appreciate a game of cricket, despite their very significant differences. However, that's the T20 version of the sport I'm talking about - it lasted a little over 3 hours. The idea of a test game going on for 5 days (and a test series lasting nearly a month) is still pretty nuts to me.

That Indian batter, Virat Kohli, he's pretty good, isn't he!

Who was it who said Joe Root wasn't a one day player?

Just got his 7th ODI century with an average well in excess of 40.

Best batsmen in the world right now.

Comical run out to end his innings!

What the F**k where they doing?

Stokes should of sacrificed himself there, even though he's playing well too.

Another failure from our skipper who has just one 50 in our winter tours of Pakistan (Abu Dhabi) and South Africa. And for the record, that was the first game of our winter when he got 76.

      97-3 now.

Stokes new to the crease, Root 32*. Good knock from Hales before getting caught on the boundary.

Make that 97-4, Stokes edged to slip and a great catch from Amla.

Tahir with 3 of the wickets, think that's more than he's took in the other three matches combined.

Tahir gets Root LBW for 95.

      Root appeals, straight away.

      Inside edge, decision overturned.

Rabada gets rid of Woakes for 33 with a bouncer, edged through to De Kock.

Just short of the hundred run partnership as well.

      203-7.
