No problem! Great text, wasn't it? Love it when people make us think about our prejudices (racism, sexism and so on) that are so internalized we rarely even think about them. This is a clear case. Sports in general are very sexist with male supremacy.

      Agree.

And i couldnt agree more with the article about the girlfriends. I want to watch tennis, not some blonde bombshell in designer clothes clenching her fist because she's one point closer to a newly funded shopping spree. Which is exactly how they paint out the players' partners.

Amazing! Britain has someone that isn't Andy Murray through to the third round of a grand slam in the form of Dan Evans after he beat and upset Bernard Tomic!

Slam number 13 for Rafa! Love that man.

Didn't watch all of the match last night, only the first set, but my god, the man is incredible! Hungriest sportsman I've ever seen, he's relentless!

Has to be asked if he can beat Federers record of 17 slams and I think you have to say he can, assuming he wins another 2 French Opens (at least), rediscover his form on grass then he will win another Wimbledon...and after the season he's had on hard courts then you have to put him as the favourite next year in he Aussie and US opens! Would love to see him do it and it would be all the more incredible considering how much of his career he's missed through injury.

Had it not been for injuries then he would be ahead of him already!

Yep! 100% agree on that, not only has he had bad injuries, the timing of those injuries could not be worse, he's missed so many Slams through injury.

Really looking forward to seeing how he progresses now.

This is why he's my favourite male player on the tour and has been for a number of years. Always cracking a joke either on the court or in the changing rooms.

Federer just elegantly breezed through the first round against Lorenzi 6-1,6-1,6-3. Effortless once again.

Nadal though is up against it at the moment. He's a set down (but going with serve in the second) to Martin Klizan and isn't hitting the ball anywhere near good enough.

He was bang average in the first set and a half of that match. Hope he doesn't go too far. Seems to be all about power with him (backed up by 9 of his 14 grand slams coming on clay) and lacks the grace, elegance and all round brilliance of Roger. He will always be behind the Swiss legend in the greatness ranks.

His best every score at Wimbledon.

I've missed all the Tennis this tear so far at Wimbledon.

Murray easing through again but a very tough match against Dimitrov to come on Wednesday.

What a match that should be. Dimitrov is a Wimbledon champion in waiting, at the very least a Grand Slam winner. BUT I think Murray will have enough to see that one through.

Neither Federer or Nadal can ill afford any lengthy matches tomorrow seeing as they are both set to play again on Wednesday following the rain disruption over the weekend. Worked out badly for them but fingers crossed they can both prevail for a semi final tussle together - their first at Wimbledon since that greatest of all finals in 2008!

Kerber v Sharapova ... Exhausted after watching that! What a match.

She lost, but that's why Maria is my favourite ever female player. What a fighter, refused to give up at any point.

Can see her winning it this year mate, she's got her form back consistently which she's not had for years.

Would have crushed her opponent had Keber not taken those numerous match points. Thought Sharapova was going to recover it but she didn't. I think Bouchard will win the women's singles now.

Nadal is so frustrating the way he is so sh*te at Wimbledon now. Since he got twatted by Djokovic in the final of 2011 he has been woeful, 2nd round, first round and now 3rd round defeats.
