Comfortable win for Andy over Berdych. The Czech making far too many unforced errors today. First Grand Slam final for Murray where he hasn't played Federer or Djokovic and the first Wimbledon final not to feature Federer, Djokovic or Nadal since 2002 when Hewitt beat Nalbandian!

There's an Olympics to come yet mate. Wouldn't surprise me if somebody wins a few golds and puts themselves at the top of the list.

Raonic will be a massive test. That final where they played each other at Queens a few of weeks ago was a brilliant match and for about a set and a half Raonic looked the business! But if Murray wins then I wouldn't want to deny him a third Sports Personality title (a record?). Go Andy!!

What if Murray wins gold at the Olympics as well ;D

I was so desperate for a ticket for the Men's tennis final, but as much as I tried, couldn't get one. I have only a 2nd round ticket and a session with one of the men's quarter finals and a women's semifinal.

Didn't want France or Portugal to make it to the Euro final, didn't want Murray to make it to the Wimbledon final...Maybe I should hope we don't win the league next season and then it might happen.

Superb from Serena this afternoon, Kerber played very well indeed but even at the age of 34 I don't think anyone can stop Serena when she plays like that. She won the doubles with Venus just now as well!

She is GOAT. I'm not her biggest fan but she is the best we will probably ever see.

She has stood up against everyone and everything the game has thrown at her the past 15 years and beaten them all.

Unlike Roger. People will say he is 34 but even at 30 he couldn't crack the new wave of talent.

I'm not a huge fan of her either but there comes a point where you have to stand back and admire her talent and recognise her for what she really is, as you say, GOAT! Something tells me you really don't think much of Fed, Crouchie :D

Great career, dominated for a period of time that proved to be weak competition, can't be considered GOAT when he isn't greatest in the past ten years.

Muzza looking good enough to win today. Raonic can't create much on his serve.

Awesome. At the greatest tennis venue, on the greatest court of them all he was unbelievable across the last two weeks! After his last victory and the back surgery after it he didn't come back as well and lost meekly the following year. But bit by bit he got better and better and reclaimed the amazing form he had three years ago. I'm so thrilled for him! One of the hardest working, most honest sports people around. So lovely to see how the British public love the guy and appreciate just what an incredible sportsman he is.

Now for the Olympics and the US Open!!

Hold your horses - Murray not the only Brit taking success on Centre Court! Heather Watson has just claimed the mixed doubles title with her Finnish partner! What a great day for British tennis! Well done Heather!

I was just as excited to watch the mixed-double's final as I was for the men's final. It's crazy how she managed to even get to the final. She's been in the women's singles (unfortunately didn't do too great), women's doubles (did decent considering who her partner was) and then wins the mixed. Very well done to her, Murray and Reid who won the men's wheelchair final.

Murray now as low as 4/6 in places. Easy money for the guys who like to back at big prices and lay at short ones  ;D

That is what makes him one of the greatest returners in the history of the game.
