Lying in hospital (going into my 2nd effin day) waiting on an MRI scan to hopefully clear me of having a stroke.

I'm almost certain that an episode I had yesterday was a migraine but they won't let me out. Arragh

All the best mate. I know how worrying and frustrating it is. Just enjoy the rest and lie back and think of England...that should cheer you up a bit.

Hope you're soon up and around again.

Nothing worse than being stuck in hospital mate.

Hope all's well when they finally get you checked over and it's nothing more than a bad headache, like you suspect.  At least you've got wifi and access to this place, not that the conversations will be doing you any good  :D

I hate hospitals but it's always good to be sure, better safe than sorry. I've had an insane migraine once, I thought I was losing sight, going blind or something, it really freaked me out immensely. Thankfully it wasn't nothing but a migraine but it's better to be sure. Hope you're well and out of there soon enough!

Yeah folks... cheers... chuffed with the good wishes, I really am. It's been humbling

The aura of my migraines changed a while back and have manifested themselves with many of the symptoms of a stroke (face, speech etc)... I'm hoping that's what this is but the doctors are insisting on the MRI - which is scaring the crap clean outta me.

We'll know soon enough I suppose  - thanks again. Appreciated.

Well... I eventually had the MRI on Thursday and out of hospital but results show that I did indeed have me a stroke. It showed bleeding on the area of my brain that would tally with the symptoms displayed.

My life has been properly turned inside out in seconds. I guess the fight starts (again) today.

Thanks to you all for your kindness - it has meant a lot.
