I'd have him back without doubt. Maybe Peter Brunker could keep him fit?

Paul Tomkins re-tweeted it but has since stated that Liverpool are denying it unfortunately. Would be a very good peice of business if we did though.

Purslow found Fabio as the only free left back so it's probably true.

I miss him, he was quality, if he had been fit he could have been our true number one left back for a good few seasons.

Yeah, Aurelio is good. That goal what he scored against Chelsea, that was class. I mean that CL game @ Stamford Bridge what ended 4-4.

He is meant to be training with us to keep up his fitness

To be honest it would be good if we could try and sort out a pay as you play deal for him

Such a shame he is made out of biscuits to be honest ,cracking player when fit

This is what baffles me to be honest ,can't believe we let it break down over money ,quite stupid considering we will now have to pay a transfer fee for someone plus wages on top
Surely both parties could sit down and come up with something to suit everybodies interests

Maybe Roy will sort out a deal. We all know Rafa played a big part in our transfer dealings and he just thought it was best to let him go so maybe now a deal can be done. Well that's what I'm hoping for.

According to Sky Sports he has supposedly joined up with the squad in Germany, the lad is lot better a full back then Konchesky, Young and even Insua.

The only thing being where is the £5 million made from the Insua deal going or I forgot RBS are getting it.

From SSN

Skysports.com understands Liverpool are lining up a shock move to bring Fabio Aurelio back to the club.

Aurelio left Anfield earlier this summer after failing to agree a new contract on a pay-as-you- play deal.

Aurelio made 71 Premier League appearances for Liverpool during his four seasons at the club, but his progress was hampered by injuries, restricting him to just eight league starts last term.

The Brazilian departed on a free transfer and was linked with a move back to his native Brazil, but he has yet to find a new club.

Liverpool have failed to bring in a replacement for Aurelio despite being linked with a host of names, including Maynor Figueroa and Paul Koncheskey.

However, it appears Aurelio could in line for a sensational return to Anfield as Roy Hodgson is ready to offer him a deal to solve his problems at left-back.

Hodgson is believed to be an admirer of the South American and Aurelio has linked up with the rest of the Liverpool squad in Germany for their pre-season friendly with Borussia Moenchengladbach .

We still need a left back though with Aurelio well documented injury problems.

Fabio Aurelio has rejoined #LFC on a two-year contract. Looks like I called that one wrong. Apologies. Was told he was just training.

http://twitter.com/rorysmith_tel

2 year contract, done deal.

Welcome back Aurelio, it was like you never left, just stay clear of that treatment table now.

hope it isn't pay as you play contract. hate that idea, all you need is a player pulling out of challenges because he doesn't want to get injured, and not earn money.
