Surely they've just misplaced the decimal point.  £4.8m?
That would actually make more sense!

Set to sign Costa, he's passed his medical with them. He'd fit right in with them, dirty pr**k.

I can't be the only one who thinks Diego Costa's face would be more suited to an identification parade for committing an unspeakably terrible crime?

Not entirely sure how that would work mate.

Maureen got rid of mata because he didn't defend enough, but now wants to sign a player who also has issues with tracking back, pressing and defending.
That's my take on it anyway.
      I'm probably completely wrong

Any thoughts on whether this is an Abramovic signing and possibly not a Maureen one? :P

      Gonna throw it out there

Think Costa will join the ever growing list of sh*te Chav forward flops

Little pace, poor first touch ( in comparison) one good season behind him, will miss plenty through suspension, overrated

      Well in Jose

I agree mate.  He won't be able to bully defenders in the EPL like he did in La Liga and he won't have the time or space he's used to either.

I'd disagree, had I not just seen his style disrupt Spain in the World Cup.
Although he might suit Chelsea better as they are hardly known for flowing football.

I think Fabregas will flop worse than Costa next season. Costa will suit the premier league; he's big, strong and a clinical finisher which is needed in this league. I think he'll easily bag 15-20 league goals next season, minimum.

I think Fabregas will flop under Jose Mourinho as he'll be wanting to play Cesc in more defensive roles than he's experienced before and he has been developed playing possession football his entire career.

In my opinion, I do not think Chelsea under Mourinho will play the style of football they play that'll let Cesc utilize his passing talents.

Quite a lot of Barca fans on twitter, and a few stats based ones, claiming that the reason Barca were keen on getting rid of Cesc is that his pace is going at an alarming rate.

I think Fabregas will do well under Mourinho.

Mourinho has always known how to play these type of players.... Lampard at Chelsea and Sneijder at Inter.

Costa I have a lot of doubts about. Seems more of a bully than a goalscorer and while he does have a touch of the Drogba's about him in the way he wins freekicks I don't think he is in the same class.

I wasn't thrilled when we were after him either.

I think they'll both be fairly average tbh. They're both decent footballers so I doubt they'll be dismal failures, but I can't see them or that Chelsea side setting the world alight. Would love it if they finished 3rd again and won F**k all.
