      Last time we had 1 point after our opening 2 games the manager was sacked at the end of the season. Houllier. 2003/04.

      Last two occassions that we lost one of our opening 2 games the manager was sacked at the end of the season. Benitez 2009/10. Houllier 2003/04.

      Liverpool FC haven't finished lower than 8th in their league in 56 years.

      And in those 56 years have finished in the top four in 44 years.

      We finished top four in 79% of the last 56 years.  That is amazing - what is more amazing is how we have done that without winning the league for 20 years.

      Last season Bolton (3-2), Burnley (4-0), West Ham (3-2) & Hull (6-1).
