you think just because we had one season in champions league we are suddenly better than them, they are an improving team right now and it is only down to their massive flop of a season last year that we managed to gatecrash the top four. act like this and this is how we will get our behinds handed to us at anfield. do not underestimate them just because we had a lucky break last season

Small club who always expect big things and never deliver. The odd League Cup here and there isn't enough for a "big" club. Constant run of trophies then yeah, but what is it - two League Cups and one FA Cup in 20 years?

Quicker they realise that they're not a big club the better. Got rid of manager after manager for not winning them the title. And in a few months time David F***ing Pleat will turn up for another go as he hasn't managed them as a caretaker for a few years.

Got a Spuds fan in my team originally from Cardiff so when the pressure is on he tries to diffuse saying that Cardiff are his first love.

Got in this morning and dropped him a note saying "...tough break at the weekend (ha ha) but keep chin up (my patronising best)". He sent me back about three pages ranting about "....referees, Roman's bought the league and everything, how liverpool were gonna get found out blah blah blah...."

Dropped him one back - "...sorry mate I meant 'borough "edging" out Cardiff 3-0. Tell you what - all the Spuds fans should join our end of season Europe party at Anfield Sunday after next. We're just playing a little diddy team so should be a right laugh and some good chanting!"

Apparently the FA are so impressed with Liverpool's resurgence there's talk of requesting an additional UCL spot for 5th.

I'm so confused... is finishing 5th a good thing or not?
If you listen to Harry, you'd think it's SUCH a burden and a pain... but watching European pedigrees Liverpool, and you realise what ANY European competition actually means... rather than 'poo-pooing' it 'cos it's a major inconvenience to our 'seasoned Champions League superstars'!

What has been forgotten though is they have a new owner who said he will splash out on players.
So they flogged Torres who was doing nothing and held Chelsea to ransom, and splashed out on 2 players for £23m & £35m who went fit have performed.
So they are becoming Man City like in their ways.

Bitter.

What an idiot that guy is.  We had £0 net spend in January - hardly Man City like!

They are just jealous that King Kenny is better in the transfer market than 'Arry 'Del Boy' Redknapp

Irrelevant. He brought in two top, top players who have performed and deserves credit. Everyone has ridiculed every single player on the Liverpool team except Meireles this season, nothing to laugh about these days. He also lets youngsters play, and they're doing very well. Brought stability to a club in crisis in record time (Harry might have something to say about that, mind).

How are the becoming like Man City?

They sold Torres and Babel and bought Carroll and Suarez for the same price. Dagleish hasn't spent a small fortune, in fact, he's spent almost nothing. He's done a great job there.

Villa are only playing for position and the beginning of their Summer Holidays. Brum are playing for league survival and against a drop in wages..
