Thanks mate :D, its ready for display during the Singapore - Liverpool game. Hopefully its the winner. Fingers crossed.

I do hope to see it at Anfield as well, however I live far away from Anfield, 7-8 hours difference. I am thinking of ways to get it to Anfield though.

About 16 hours mate, I did it over a span of about 2-3 weeks. Look at the earlier posts I made before this, Some black-white drafts, looking at the completed one I can see how much my banner has progressed :) Cost is about 15 quid.

I'm sure there is a few people on here who would be willing to give it an appearance.

£15 is not bad at all, you'll always have it aswell now.

I am actually thinking of giving it away so that it can be a permament figure at Anfield! Rather than leaving it in my house and not knowing what to do with it :D

Yup, it was hard work. In fact I painted it, does it look like paint to you?

Yup, I painted it.. It isn't that obvious from far, unless you really zoom up close then you can see the difference. ;)

Looks awesome. The Kop would be proud to look after it and display it if that is your decision. I bet it'd get on the telly too!

Well you know, that banner is a combination of banners. I remember seeing the palm from somewhere, and also 'Dreams into reality since 1892' is DLS' idea. I tried to lump everything together to sum up what the club symbolize. Yeah.

It would be good to see the banner on the Kop, but we'll see :)

You could even entrust it to some very reliable people on here who would get a beautiful picture of it on The Kop during the game, get the photo printed for you, and then return the banner with the photograph. I'm sure of it! :)

EDIT: In fact, I could print a pretty good quality picture at work when the day comes!

      He made the Swiss role
      Now he's Monchen Gladbach"

I can only give you some information for Singapore ;D

On a side note my banner didnt win the contest. It was some Singaporean-themed banner instead :(

There is a  book out called 'Liverpool FC Banners' It charts the history of the banners made by our fans over the years, such wit and humour is second nature to Scousers and is brought out in some of the banners paraded over the years.

After seeing a programme on LFC TV this evening about it, it got me thinking which banners are the best, whats your favourite banner from a game?

Mine has to be the 'Joey ate the frogs legs' banner from the 1977 European Cup Final, seeing all those red and white chequered flags in the Olympic Stadium in Rome and then this huge massive flag in the middle, it really stood out, and that particular flag is an outstanding memory from that game.
